Bible was confused with the question asking which part of the story pete in tge question is. Because if it's pete from the beginning of the story he thinks pete will choose Kinn but if Pete from the near ending that pete will choose Vegas. 🤣

Exactly hahah He even forgot about Pete, especially PORSCHE. Vegas is the one to keep Pete safe, the final episode shows that. Vegas was the one to put Pete at the lowest targeting list in the first place, just because he didn't think Pete was smart or good enough as a bodyguard. Also, Vegas was the one to avoid Pete until episode 7 where he's the one bringing Pete to the forefront when he's just in the background. Vegas was the one who kept Pete alive even if it was for his own purpose when Pete got captured and during their time in the safe house. Kinn didn't do anything at all and eventually forgot his "most trusted" bodyguard.

Even I hated Vegas because of torturing pete so much I really wanted to kill him but at after seeing through his pov I came to know many things. As an example Vegas really hated kinn because he was always compared to kinn in every step by his father and his own father hated him for being a gay (I am not sure but I did read it correct me if I am wrong) and he didn't have anybody who would love him as he was . I know he have Macau but he has to protect his little brother from his own father
I also somewhat feel that kinn is lucky to have korn as his father here I am not saying that he has a nice father but atleast korn respected his son's choices even if it's for his plans and purpose
I know what he has done to pete doesn't give any kind of excuses but I also do feel that EVERYONE deserve a second chance to correct his /her mistakes.

He enjoys this thrilling and action spree, even if it's his duty. He's the master manipulator in this show and story. He is smart and calculating. He KNOWS exactly what he gets into and he expected that, he just didn't know that Vegas will keep him alive but the torture, he KNOWS. Pete is not someone who can be underestimated, just because he's the captive, it doesn't mean he's not capable of leaving lol He is conscious with everything he does, choose, and know. Vegas does what a captor is supposed to do, yes, it's not an excuse for his actions. But really, realistically, what do criminals do? This is a Matured Mafia Themed story, it's not a Teen-Mafia story lol
And are you guys forgetting that Kinn is not any better to Porsche either? Just because they don't do the torture, the beating, but there's raping without consent and kidnapping. Also, controlling, in their relationship too. Don't overlook here.

Come on now, don't overlook at anyone, just because Vegas is just more transparent with his evilness, it doesn't mean the others are not. There is no one in this novel and series are good. They are all bad in their own ways, with tint of lights in them.
