Have an E46 M3 and E36 M3. Honestly, love driving the E36 more. It's a bit more of an analog driving experience and the car feels much lighter/nimble. Love that E36 M3.
If it feels more nimble u had to have swapped out that rack
@@BMWiE-lz3nu I had an E36 328is it was a fabulous car. Stock in the UK they made 193bhp, but with the S50 manifold and a bit of tuning they make 230bhp which is enough to have fun. Mine was totally reliable even though I thrashed it daily. I sold it and the buyer turned it into a drift car.

I now own a 455bhp/634nm M140i but I always wished I had never sold the E36.
@@DjNikGnashers had an e36 m3, sold it for a 135i coupe, after 4 years sold the 135i and went back to another e36 m3, you should go back, its worth it!
@@marcelomontero448 I'd have one as a 2nd car mate, but my M140i is such a beast I don't think I will ever sell it.
I know the feeling. I had an 2003.5 6spd E46 M3. After 5 years or ownership, lots of keeping up with maintenance, fully replacing all suspension parts and swapping in Status Gruppe coilovers and Status Gruppe SCZA exhaust, auto solutions short shifter, etc., I supercharged it. It was incredible and I miss it every day. It ran to 220k miles with perfect compression until the day I totaled it hitting black ice.
I would get another one, but knowing the cost to get it to where I had my first one is not cheap, considering all mods and maintenance expenses, it just doesn’t make sense to do it again.

im doing a supercharger build on my e36 , hyde motorworks kit uses the m122 from the gt500 . 335i 6sp trans etc . if ur ever in Massachusetts again when its done u gotta come take a look at it .

Solid looking M3/4/5. Having done an S54 swap in my E36, I honestly like the sound from the S50 (or s52) better. Just can't argue with almost 100 more NA on tap.
euro spec s50 makes 300 hp :)
slap schrick cams, intake and tune and now youre 400+
@@Ladwick532 That was catching on until BMW NA blacklisted most of the euro specific parts across dealers in the US. Hard to justify getting a hot motor you can't really service.
There are ways to get around the parts issue, but that and the availability of the S54 with people figuring out the wiring/logistics kind of made it the way to go.
@@willsparklin I agree with you there, but if you can afford to spend the time and money I think the euro s50 is worth it

you still own a 4 cylinder or sold it for a 6 cylinder?
It's still powered by the 1.9L M44 w/ZF 5speed but I have a 2007 535xi E61 that I plan to use as a donor for a N54 swap 😏

@@johndekijk The plan hopes the N54 swap will be carb certified. It'll be a complete engine swap including the DME, all emision related items, fuel controller, and other modules from the donor vehicle

Nice car. Hello from the Philippines. We have a similar setup. I have a 316i E36 sedan with an S52B32 engine and a AA stage 2 supercharger kit. I have a high rise wing. I kept the interior stock except for the seats, got a pair of Recaro Speed. It is first owned and this is my 3rd engine. Had a M50B25TU Supercharged but unfortunately got flooded. Your car is tastefully modded. Good luck with everything.

@@fiestahimself9135 E36 is the most reliable bmw to me. You just gotta make your choice of buying one in better condition and paying more or a lemon that you gonna have to wrench on yourself or get fucked by the mechanic for 2 years straight

Currently, my Supercharged S62 E34 M5 wagon build gets the same treatment!

Stock front bumper with OEM lip, ECS cf Lip. Rear bumper is the original one with MKAH diffuser. Bosch Euro headlights. Not sure on spoiler, but looks like a LTW rep.

Love the car, nice job putting it together - what BBK are you using up front? I’ve got the same wheels (17x9) and can’t find a BBK that would clear with using a large spacer.
I have the stoptech c43 sport brake kit. I had to run a 5mm spacer to clear the apex wheels. Thanks for watching ray!

97 m3 automatic 160k miles for 8k what y’all think?
Talk him down to 5-6k,manual swap it for 2-3k and u will be happier than getting someone's clapped out manual for 10k. I manual swapped mine and since it was an auto I knew it was NEVER beat on,never spent much time above 5k rpm like it does now as a manual. Not gonna lie tho,as an auto u will HATE it
