It's good to see the New Player Experience being tested. For many, it's been a long time since we walked in those shoes.
As a lvl 95 player, having to create a new account from scratch seems unfathomable. It’s does get better with time but it’s a LONG grind. Good luck commanders!

Top tip use didn't mention. As you get familiar 3the game, learn your characters and listen to some of the Content Creators. Valuable insight. Some are truly great and some are trash but overall very helpful.

Started up a second account for grins. Hit level 71, so a bit further along. A few things...
1. Farm some of the newer characters up to six stars for DD1. That 7 star Kestrel is huge. Was able to do complete DD1 and DD2 immediately as I hit the level requirements. Already working toward DD3, although Ultimus is less interesting. Cap America to Winter soldier are a great pair to farm for the six star.
2. Work on whatever the meta raid teams are that you can farm. I have 78 million on Doom 1 right now, auto'd up to the mutant boss (center lanes). I can auto all of U7.
3. For when you hit CC, build up 1 CC team. All I have on defense is MoE and most of the new mutant raid team (missing Sunspot). MoE held today for the win. Sitting in Silver 2.
4. Look at the requirements for your campaign nodes. Getting ready to level up a Wakanda team for Doom War Chapter 2:1-3 so I can farm Cap Sam in 2:4-6. This will lead to Omega Red. Which means you also need Nick Fury at 5 stars. For Fury, I went ahead and started farming black order. Almost have Ebony Maul unlocked. BO is going to go on war and crucible defense.
5. With the above, already in Incursion Chapter 4, which means I can farm Spider Weaver and Kang. The side benefit to this is you start to pile up a lot of elite 4 credits as you get red star dupes from these incursion nodes.
6. Do max refreshes per day on your ISO nodes and get those raid team up to ISO 1 level 5.
With this season in War, as you easily put a Rebirth team on defense and get the occasional hold for you alliance.
I wouldn't worry about leveling speed too much if you are f2p. You are going to run out of training and ability materials and end up with a huge surplus in gold (sitting at 36.5M and 27 gold orbs).
The new player experience is nothing like what is was.
This is excellent advice. I am also 71, and while I do have the advantage of starting right in time to get PEGASUS, which carried hard in early arena and raids, I spent months farming Kree minions instead of S6, so even in the last month it has changed so much, and gotten even easier. But at 65 I did have Vulture and Rescue and Shang Chi at 6* and was able to complete dd1 in one sitting. Kestrel is amazing and now super easy to get. People saying to wait till DD2 then go back are nuts. You should be focus farming a few characters like cap and the s6 and unlock Kestrel at 65 immediately.

This game at least for me was very overwhelming in terms of where to start and which characters to grind first
I've also just hit lvl75 recently, and the only time I've used power cores in the arena is when I can kinda guarantee a promotion bump, for example my current position is 76. To get better rewards I have to aim for under 50, and the rewards for that jump aren't worth it (yet). Most of the teams around me are similar and tough so if I were to core it I'd have to spend more 200+. Cores are too valuable to waste in arena for the early player, imho.
If I have enough, should I just get 108 Blitz Orbs?

Do they know about the pay day event? It’s good to get 7 star mercs for that gold. Taskmaster is great for that.

As a player who has really hit level 75, I personally think it's a trap to buy the time heist offers. The people who buy those don't have accumulated resources and run out of stuff whereas the people who level organically don't really have bottlenecks besides t4s and t2s
In arena, I'm still top 50 even though I didn't buy those offers because I just built meta character who punch up big ie. Weaver, kang, kestrel etc, I just stark tech my focus so my debunks land
I wondered if that was an issue later on. Makes me glad I haven't bought anything to get ahead!
Completely disagree. Started in August. Bought Time Heist. Was able to unlock Apoc in January. I’m about to hit lvl 90. I’m in a top 250 raid and war alliance. 16m TCP. Number 6 in Arena.

@FilmColossus the players in my cluster who bought it mostly hold the same opinion as me. They have bought other offers for training mats, ability materials in order for them to be up there. I am still fighting and beating those teal geared characters at 75 without having bought those offers. The only reason I'm not in the top 20 is because my defense doesn't hold up
@@The_squid_princess I started in mid October 2023 and grinded to the Level 65 by very early December then purchased the Level 80 Timehiest. This allowed me to do the first 3 dark dimensions in short order. The 1st dark dimension now gives you a 7 star Kestrel after the 2nd run. The level 80 timehiest also allows you to get a 6 star Magento pretty much same day unlock.
I am currently 85 and have completed DD1, DD2, DD3 and DD4 in 100 days. Also preparing for DD5 and currently doing Doom 3 raids and may switch to incursion raids in a few few weeks.
As long as you arent upgrading every toon then the missing resources by skipping 65-80 isnt an issue.
Just raid every day and push up the level of raids you are doing ASAP. Also do arena everyday.
I see now mobile gamer is destroyer of words and kat is the destroyer of free claims.

Lol, I deleted it over 2 years ago because it was a straight up - pay to win. Never regretted it. It was fun in the beginning, but then you will hit a major wall. Only spent $.99 to get Black Panther. I'd like my dollar back lol

I just started playing this game with the Gambit promo. I'm level 41 and haven't gotten any other new player promos to work but this one just did. (All caps didn't work, only capitalize the V and the F)
