- We had a exciting and busy week, Andrei and I attend Rita's wedding it was so much fun, as well we had my sisters leave and go back to Canada...The gang headed over to Ajuda da Breatana to have lunch with one of our followers on youtube... We also had a surprise visit from my cousin from Canada who I had not seen in about 4 years, there visit was great loved seeing them...The family and I had breakfast at Jardim a restaurant at Antonio Borges Garden, I recommend both the restaurant and the garden ...It was a exciting week all around!

I really enjoyed this was my stepping grounds as a kid, before I emigrated to Canada at the age of 14!
The story behind the jardim do Antonio Borges, it was a grounds where catholic monks lived in a convent and few centuries ago they built these arches and caverns!

Ola Natalie, I'm sure Andrei already knows but the plant that looks like Papaya is a Fatsia japonica. I live in Wilmington, NC in the US and they're all over the place here but surprisingly the only place I saw them in Sao Miguel was at Jardim Antonio Borges.
