So if your hero power does 48 damage and lifesteal heals you for an equal amount, do the four Automatons increase the healing to 768?
Has Wild basically transpire into an Aggro vs OTKfest? If it has, then I don't think I wanna touch it until the expansion comes out.
That's a bit of an oversimplified take on the meta, imo. There is a reasonable amount of variety (save for high ranks, maybe). Either way, eternal formats in card tend to speed up and get more polarized over time.
What's wrong with that tho?
Even if it is, the number of cards gives it imense variety even in each deck archetype
Because standard busted meta is more fun
there's a lot of control players too. at rank five you can easily find some players that are bored of the meta and play fun stuff! it's worth to give it a try

I thought about possible OTKs with Clockwork Automaton in all classes (including Demon Hunter). The one I couldn't come up with was Paladin's. Even when you have a 0-cost hero power and Majordomo Executus to make it deal damage, the absurd amount of mana makes it impossible to do consistently. Unless it isn't?

hey why does power overwhelming give the minion health?
like, if it died at the start of next turn i could understand it, because then you could put it on a taunt minion and have a defensive boost for a turn.
but the minion dies at the end of turn??? so its health sort of doesnt matter??? except on cards that have effects while theyre damaged i guess. which, the only one of those warlock cares about is grim patron???

Can someone explain to me why they played Turtle and made that particular trade at 4:12? I'm genuinely confused as to why they did that. They could've just traded the 8/8 into Roffle's Voidlord and get 3 1/3's when Doomsayer triggered. Am I missing something?

Yay! I got another game on TH-cam! It shows rank 6 but I was rank 5.
Here is the current version of that paladin deck. I've found that aggro versions of quest paladin are super fun and have a good win rate. I've made many different versions over the years but this one is the most fun and does very good against other aggro decks.

Thanks man, to be honest this looks a little like a deck I would make. What was your plan with this? Is Galvadon your only wincondition? I mean, it looks nice and haven't seen it before, but unfortunately looks a bit weak. But pretty unique so keep it up!
@@csucskos It's a midrange/tempo deck that does great against aggro but terrible against control. Lynessa is also a win condition, I've had her over 30 attack before. I drew bad this game, usually it has more pressure early on. Sometimes you stick a minion on 2 and champions into kings and win the game fast.
The non-paladin paladin version is better against control but I have been playing mostly aggro so this version is best right now.

Can someone rate this demonhunter OTK?
You need a deck with no 3 Mana cards (pretty easy) and only 5 Combopieces.
Preparation: Play Metamorphosis, fencing coach and reduce at least 2 combo pieces by 1 with for example taurissan or even 2x Galvanicer.
Play Clockwork Automation, Talderam and Garrisan Commander for 8 Mana, use your heropower two times and deal 40 Damage.
This Combo seems pretty easy for 40 Damage
Aktually he would have healed for more than 48 because it doubles damage and healing. I know that because I played a similar deck in the kobolds and catacombs days
@Nala The 48 healing are increased after the damage, so 48*2*2*2*2=768 but thats a Bit much

wonder if you would survive by using the gul dan hero power on your own face
I believe you would.
Iifesteal activates before the effect finishes resolving and saves you from death in every circumstance where the healing is strong enough. I once saw an adventure boss swing a Spectral Cutlass, drop to 0, and then heal and survive.
