I don't get why people are still trippin' over NCT WISH, when SM always said there'd be language-based subunits. The WISH dudes are just goin' through the same thing WAYV did when they debuted. And they literally did a survival show, so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that these guys popped up. Even with the whole BIGHIT about to buy SM situation, it was said that this would be the last NCT unit, meaning a new and final one was on the horizon. Those of us who've been ride or die with NCT since day one, we love 'em and genuinely hope they blow up like crazy.

There was a competition between KAKAO and BIGHIT to see who would take over SM. In the end, it was KAKAO. It's not like they become subsidiaries or anything, but now KAKAO is a major shareholder.
