I only saw Hot Shots once when I was about 12 or 13, I couldn't even remember which movie it was centrally parodying :P So I watched it again a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed the theme. So good on ye for extending it, I enjoyed this a lot :)
I've always thought this theme goes way harder than it had any right to. But that's what made those older spoof movies work, they allowed certain aspects of the film to play it straight, while allowing the comedy to come out of that juxtaposition. Like hiring actors like Leslie Nielsen and Robert Stack in Airplane, but telling them to treat the role completely po-faced and serious, because they knew that would be way funnier.
This inspired me to ask cause it's completely random, but I would love a extended theme from JAG. The OST has so many fun variations of the theme I think you could make a masterpiece. Either way, keep up the good work!

If the MCU had been made in the 2000s, this would have been a great theme for Captain America
