One of the unsung heroes of that film (and film, in general) is Jeff Corey as Sheriff Bledsoe. To this day, whenever I encounter a person or movement (or myself) headed down a doomed path brought about by their own hubristic actions, I think of Sheriff Bledsoe’s line: “Your times is over and you’re gonna die - *bloody* - and all you can do is choose where”.
That's a little morbid, wouldn't you say? If you want a better life, change what you're doing. And in order to do that, gain another perspective, as thoughts lead to feelings, and feelings lead to actions.
Leonardo DiCaprio & Brad Pitt already basically play as them both in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood!!!! It's a buddy film & both characters were loosly based on Paul Newman (Butch) and Robert Redford (Sundance)
It is a great movie, but some time ago, I decided to watch the original Gunga Din, with Cary Grant. I realized then that is must have been the first action/comedy/buddy/drama.
Brad as Sundance would be good, but he is too old for a remake. Instead have Butch and Sundance escape, despite all odds, and have the movie be about the two old guys who have been living incognito for years after they barely got out alive. Sundance was 41 when he died in 1908. Brad is 60. So, have the movie be set in the 1920s, 15-20 years after the two men were actually killed. They you get a 60ish Sundance and a 60ish Brad. DiCaprio as Butch. Could be a good movie. Two old outlaws get into some adventure. Remakes are usually a disappointment.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood basically is Brad Pitt playing as a Sundance Kid type of role while Leonardo DiCaprio plays as a Butch Cassidy type character !!!! It's a buddy film just like this film is
Hell yeah, one of the best bro movies of all time

Oh yes, this line made quite the impression on me too.

I could see Brad and Leo reuniting for a remake of this classic.
Pitt would play Newman's role (he's older than Dicaprio by 10 years).
I don’t think Leo would be right for it. Clooney would.

@@maralinekozial9131 You're right! I love that movie so much🥰
Brad kinda looks like Redford a bit. He could play Sundance in a movie.
NO remake!
It’s because he is Robert Redford
@@jerelischable Heard that
Kinda?
He did. Haven't you seen Once Upon A Time...?
I think it's so damn funny that Brad Pitt looks like he's the son of Robert Redford
Brad Pitt imitates Redford in many ways, even his own natural looks!
I had a similar drive-in experience when I was 6, but it was Jaws and I cried when they blew him up with the oxygen tank.
Ah I had the same. Drive in. Jaws.
Wait -- you were rooting . . . for Bruce??
I love Brad. He is king of the industry.

It’s a perfect movie
