I'm new to this game and just wanted to say you've created one of my favorite game OSTs of all time. Absolutely hooked.

The poor man wanted a break, and he got Ceaseless Labour.
He asked for a miracle, but he never mentionned to who the miracle will be for

The idea that rather "making the most of a bad situation" you can elevate to being "hand of the divine, holding the gates of hell and purifying all unholy" is simply obsessive! And the music just brings so much to that feeling... breathtaking!

Hopeless despair, suicidal courage, and eldritch mysteries of the cosmos all wrapped up into one song. It’s beautiful, intense, mysterious, and powerful all at once. This quickly became a favorite of mine above all else and DD already has an amazing soundtrack. Well done!

I think this is my favourite of all your pieces so far, discounting Town in Chaos cos thats in a league of its own. What even are those instruments at 2:10? They sound so haunting and alien
It ....actually, it sounds like a calliope. And now the more I listen to it, the more that is what it sounds like. Look up a vid of what a calliope sounds like. An unusual ensemble indeed.

Honestly the Farmstead has the best "Lovecraftian madness from beyond" vibe in any media I've seen, and this soundtrack strongly adds to that

This new DLC is quickly becoming my favorite part of DD and the soundtrack is at least half the reason why. And this is from a game that already had an amazing soundtrack. Amazing work

I wish there were uploads of the various stages of the song, starting from background instruments, to the secondary scifi sounds and piano, and fibishing off with the climatic strings.
I really like each layer individually and all pieced together too.

Love this DLC! The bright colors, the new monsters and of course the perfect soundtrack.
It sounds so alien and intense, like you're just about to face something out of this world, and yet fits in with the rest of Darkest dungeon flawlessly.
Especially at 2:05, that feeling of desperation the music brings as you're struggling to survive the onslaught is amazing.
You sir are a genious, please keep doing more game tracks in the future.

I didn't _expect_ a color out of space inspired dlc, but I am _very_ happy that we got one
This music is really give the dlc feeling of unknown horror, unknown terror, and unbearable fear from the cosmic beyond that no man know about.
Complete honesty here: The main reason I sought out this tune was the one-two punch of that enticing, vibrating synth line around the 2 minute mark, followed by the descending string riff at 2:50-ish. Absolute ear candy, both melodically and texturally.
This music turns making breakfast into epic stressful event. Thanks.

I just love how eerie the start of this track sounds, and how it build up into something epic. it really makes the each battle more intense

An irrational mockery outside space and time which bleeds into reality wherever its weave grows tennuous and squalid.
A place where no sane mind shoudl ever wander into but nevertheless drawn in by its mysterious light.

Good ost but it gives me flashbacks of my squad slowly losing the tempo, health and sanity. A few crits slip here and there, the dodge doesn't roll and an attack misses, resulting in an eventual boss fight for witch my charachters are far too exhausted, and death.
Still epic music, 10/10 crits
i know i'm a year too late,but i just fought the miller as this played and i have never felt so determined in a boss fight before
as well as the fact that i'm helping put a poor soul to rest

I recently bought this DLC for the xbox a while ago since it recently was released for the console. But this soundtrack is so good I was playing the mission "kill 1 Miller" and I was one the third stage and the soundtrack is so amazing thank for this God material.
In my next campaign I already know what I will include ... The Color of Madness, if there is such good music :)

Hey Stuart: my wife and I hare stumped trying to figure out what instrument was used for this portion, ~2:06 to ~2:30. Can you share? It just has such a unique sound to it, and we love it. Thank you!
It's a combination of woodwinds playing in a staccato style. lf you search "double tongue clarinet" on TH-cam you'll find some examples of the technique used.

The music honestly does remind me of something from Dark Souls. Just a little techno, but you don't fight things from beyond the stars and beyond human understanding in Dark Souls. Just Bloodborne so far.
