    When Fallin did have a bing, we used to slide odown it on manriding belts we found and cut to size. WE also played in thr doctor's woods next to the pit

    My father was an underground miner there for 22 years starting when he was 14 until we came to Australia in 1972

    My dad was a miner there for years. Ended up at the Cape doing roofing batts after he lost a finger, being crushed off by coal. My uncle John Shearer lost his arm there, first day on the job. Died instantly from shock and blood loss. Historical, but not to user friendly, back in the days of no OH&S. I used to live on Polmaise Cres. I hope to get back there for a visit next June. Great video by the way.
