Sorry for the loss of your father. I lost mine on January 23rd of this year to cancer as well. He was always my first phone call when I shot one and I don't know if I'm ready for this season and not being able to make that call. I know he will be with me but it's still going to be hard.

Because of how cold it was I decided to wear the mens uncompahgre puffy jacket to hold in my body heat. With that being said I wanted to dampen my noise of the puffy so I put a first light hoody layer over the top.

@@bpointtv I'm the same way. Shoot a gun and pool left handed, shoot a bow right handed. I shoot a bow with both eyes open never tried a eye patch. Congrats on a great buck. Sorry about your loss.

Sorry for your loss . My Dad also died of cancer and other things the day before our gun season (WI) . Opening day for me was a doe and two fawns bedded east of me 30yds and a doe and fawn bedded sw 15yds for about a 5 hour period . they got up a few times and browsed and
re-beded, and thankfully finally left.

Sorry to hear about your dad man. I lost my dad September 9th. We were supposed to head out on my elk hunt on the 10th. The treestand has been my place for peace this season and I'm sure you can relate. I've let some nice deer walk by just to keep going back to be away and alone. He was excited that I should draw Iowa next year but I guess I will have to make that trip alone. I have a little antler urn of ashes in my bino harness so a part of him will still be there. Anyways, way to keep grinding and close the deal. Sweet buck

It depends on the situation. Sometimes I will run a lower tether for maneuvering if it’s a weird tree.

@@bpointtv People trash those heads but they are like bullets. Have u ever had issues with blades failing? I lost deer 2 wks ago with grim reaper hades. They don't fly great?
