I have the Akripovic exhaust too, and I can say that there is not one single video that really captures the sound of this wonderful exhaust. You need to be at the bike in person to marvel at what Ducati and the folks from Akripovic pulled off with this exhaust. In closing all I can say is that I do not splurge on aftermarket exhausts, but this exhaust is an exception to my rule and an Absolute Must on this machine!!! Keep the Shiny Side Up...
I love the look. I love the 4 pipe exhaust revealing a 4 cylinder just like MV AGusta with their triple exhaust. Lots of plastic on the engine. Would love to see more engine vs a semi naked look
Problem with v4 tough to work on. I own a second Super Duke 1290r. Whole engine easy access. I also own a MV AGusta 800rr Dragster, Pirelli edition. Again, nice to see whole engine like a Ferrari or Lambo.
Is that the air filter at 1:27? If so, why would it be completely exposed with no protection or cover? ..would it not get completely wet if caught in the rain?
Well, that's an air intake scoop. Not the air filter. Lots of bikes (and cars) have air scoops and "Ram Air" intakes. Not that much rain water makes it through and if it does there are spots where it collects and even if it gets to the filter it won't be that much that naturally makes it through.
@@RideQuick the apropovič exhaust (and many others) are ridiculous money for the small extra horsepower and slightly better sound. The akropovoč system costs €5000 over here . Great looking though so I’ll give you that 😊
@@RideQuick can I ask… diavel v4 or Streetfighter v4 if you had to choose? I’ve tried both and am inlove 😂 before I hand over money I want as many views as possible. I intend on some touring and having a pillion now and then. 🤔
@@markholmes5695 The Streetfighter V4 is arguably the perfect motorcycle. The Diavel V4 is not a bad choice, either. Between the two? Streetfighter: Speed, features and tech, power everywhere, rider comfort, handling. It pretty much has all the good parts of the Panigale and none of the bad.
sorry but not normal anymore these days! disassemble half the motorcycle just change to the exhaust????!!!!! akrapo is all very well, but another reason to buy older bikes. too much is too much of all that electronic stuff and stuff 👎🏻
I hope you're doing the work on your 'old' bike yourself. Most dealerships won't touch older (10-15yrs old) units. That's not considering parts availability.
@@RideQuick yes, i do most of the things on my motorbike myself! I also have a mechanic who does the things that I can no longer do......(i.e. engine, etc...) woltre to say that rs is simply too much electronics and pladtik built into motorcycles these days! not to mention the price. hence my decision to drive something older!

Part of the love of this sport is experiencing it live and in person. I wouldn't have it any other way!
pick mine up 2morow with Akrapovic, been waiting 5months 3 weeks ... respect from UK
@lake76 a bit of work to install it, but you will be rewarded!

People who buy these bikes at this pricepoint don't (usually...) work on their own bikes.
@@RideQuick Agree, it doesn't make sense to spend 26K on a bike and then try to save money by fixing it yourself. You wanna save money, don't buy it.

@RideQuick 👍 ok..good to know ..thanks
Now that is a beautiful thing! 😮
It sure is...It. Sure. Is.
Looking nice but personally, I prefer it in red. The exhaust sounds very NASCAR'ish. I like it.
The only true Ducati is a red Ducati!
Jo road ko smajke chule pe khud adjust hojaye accuracy se usme jada play naho

This sounds really like a monster 😀
From sixteen years back waited for DUCATI DIAVEL V4 cruise bike waiting for unbox mine 🥰
Sounds like a Monster? How? Which Monster?
The price of this exhaust makes baby Jesus cry. Quarter the cost of the whole bike
This was funny. Actually laughed out loud!
It costs as much as my first bike (2001 SV650 S)
Sounds tremendous. The cost though!
Gotta pay to play, my fellow bike lover.
@@RideQuick I think that I will be buying the Streetfighter V4s instead. It sounds very good as standard.
@@michaeltelemachus5112 that is my personal favorite.

Quanto costa?
Alrededor de $6,500 USD

“A” makes great pipes. Love underbelly vs a huge ugly muffler stuck on side of bike
Drag bike, literally.
Can we put a shopping basket on the front? 🧺
What does that mean?
Is it the work of art or mud stucking tail light pores?
What does that mean?
32k when all is said and done..... I mean, damn. And I thought 18k for the new Speed Triple was hard to stomach
Are you talking about with mods? How much are taxes and fees where you live? Our math is different.
@@RideQuick 27k + 6.5k? Oh yeah, 33.5 before taxes.....
Well, don't get the exhaust. Still just as sweet a ride.

finally visually absolutely fantastic but unfortunately the thing sounds like a bag of nuts
I would reserve that opinion until you've heard it in person.
I wrote this comment after hearing it at my Ducati dealer and I stand by my opinion
Fair enough.
Sage ich ja, somit bleibe ich gern bei meiner Meinung
Nice & expensive piece .
Sounds not as good as on track .
Jesa military truck me hota
so expensive and chain drive
Not really. For what you get, the price is right. And, chain drive is best for high performance.

Hope it sounds good in real life, sounds quite lame here.
Doesn't sound 'lame' at all. The mic doesn't capture all the deepness and fidelity, put certainly not lame. Check your speakers.
Should weigh way less
Muy linda y bacano pero muy feo el sonido
Plan on buying a diavel v4 . Extortionate akro price . They are very much taking the piss for 5? More horses and better sound. €5000 here. Criminal
Not sure what that means?

Ah. Now I understand. Yes. It is a lot for only a few horses more and a few pounds less.

You must work around some cool-ass tractors.
Dry weight 456lbs...........hilarious.
Are you saying that's wrong or that it's too much?
456lbs, on what planet ? Here on earth with our gravity I will eat a Ducati Diavel for every pound under 500 one of those weighs.@@RideQuick
Well..., get your seasoning and marinades. OEM dry weight is 465lbs. After mods; approx 456lbs. Unless you have weighed one yourself...?
What do you 'think' it weighs? Curious.
@@RideQuick OEM weights, they never ever ever lie. 525lbs with fuel I'm sure.
