Brilliant instructions so easy to follow...I am a 67 year old grandfather of 4 . I suffered a stroke about seven years ago plus I also have inflammatory poly arthritis and plus four coronary stents fitted Since the craze of loom bands moved over from the USA to the UK I brought some for my grandchildren.. I did try a few bracelets myself then the wife joined in. My eldest grandsons partners, my wife and I have started to follow the TH-cam tutorials on loomband charms and I have been finding them a challenge in understanding the instructions. I have however found that after time my mind seems to have kicked in into "TEACHING AN OLD DOG NEW TRICKS" mode and I do not know if it is the bands themselves or the continued use of my hands but now I can feel a warmth in my knuckles and the pains and stiffness seem to be eased.I have lost interest in the TV and I am no longer a couch potato now often spending more time talking to my wife and family and this is I believe my mind has been activated with a simple challenge, one being how many band do I NOT break.. What ever, thank you to all of you for making these tutorials and also the inventor of this craze...Thank you Cheryl . xx
That's amazing Tom!!! Looming is magical in so many ways & this is such a beautiful comment as to how it's positively effected you :) No doubt, Cheryl is one of the best teachers out there!
Thank you for your comment Jessie, I am truly amazed on how Cheryl can relate to a pattern in her head and transfer to the finished loom charm. I did have a slight disaster to road runner but my fault as I did not go through the eye band so had to add his eyes at the end. What I like about Cheryl you can actually view the loom board and pegs as she looms. Must add I do like the dog barking in the background..Is Cheryl the only person you follow or do you have any other good instructors ..Bye
***** Hi Tom ! Your comment is absolutely beautiful. I have read this over, and over again. I have sat here appreciating many different things in the past 23 hours, and I think I will have a different outlook. Thank you :) You have gone through so much, I am extremely Happy to hear how you're improving, and also how much you, and your family are enjoy this. One thing I do know is how to feel sorry for myself, and how are minds can play tricks. I became lonely, and quiet b4 I started looming. I have had some health issues in the past two years, and one major scare this year. Rainbow Looming has kept my mind seriously occupied. It has brought me a lot of Joy, and I made a ton of new friends! Normally I am a happy, and kind hearted person by nature, and when I kept getting bad news one right after the other I became sad, and no longer somebody that u really want to be around anymore. I too have not watched TV Since last November, and I became myself again. Your Story brought tears to my eyes, and made me realize that the thoughts in the back of my head needs to stop, and I need to over come the fears, and face the fact that things still could be worse. I have a simple operation that I keep postponing, but I am still very afraid to head back to the hospital knowing I'll be in pain when I leave. As I sit here with my eyes full of tears, and write this. I send to YOU the biggest Hug, and I wish you the best, Joy, and Happiness. As I now start to smile I all of a sudden don't feel scared. Thank you Tom XXXX Happy Looming!
Looming WithCheryl hi Cheryl, so sorry for the long time in replying but had a lot going on. I hope by now that you have had your postponed operation and have completely recovered. Since last talking to you I did progress in getting out of the house and go fishing with my oldest grandson. Had problems since October 2016 as started getting travel sick and stroke feelings back. I am fighting it though and will not give up. Not only. Looming but my wife had started crocheting too. She even tried her hand at making Christmas wreaths and lots of baking I am now 70 how time flys . Best wishes
Hi Cheryl , many thanks for your comment. So sorry to hear of your health issues .. Please don't be afraid of operations. Sure all ops carry a risk but so does crossing the road .. Thanks for your hug but I am okay thanks . So many people worse off than both you and I but it is nice to read that you are now feeling more positive, just so easy to fall into a rutt. As I mentioned your tutorials are brilliant . I must admit I did have a laugh earlier on, I had a go at your road runner but while looming his head I missed the band holding his eyes . Poor Beep! Beeps eyes fell off . My fault but soon fixed and must say he looks quite cute. Once again thank you , take care and look after yourself ..I intend making one of your charms every evening once the grandchildren have gone home .. When my 5 year old granddaughter arrives in the mornings she has started looking for what charms my wife and I have made for her . Bye and best wishes x
Hi! you can try and make him with the colours using three bands from the neck down 1 Red 1 Blue, and 1White. For the belly extention just use a single. Or minus that part all together cause he may just look too big. Good Luck!
I’m still here in 2021 doing rainbow loom creations and this one was a huge success for me :) thank you so much!
