For the topic of rebuying heavy shields: my rule of thumb is if you survive the round, I wouldn’t recommend to rebuy Heavy if your current shield is still above 24 health. You’d essentially treat it as a leftover light shield so you can prioritize your money into your utilities or saving the rest for future rounds when you’d need a full shield more.
This is true for most cases yeah. Of course if your economy is very good already, then there’s no need. Similarly playing against a low buy, having extra shields can be a big help!
Also if your enemy is on an eco and you have like 27 remaining, I would recommend full buy as now you can tank extra bullets from spectres, long range sheriffs, and stingers.
one time i played with this chamber, he wasnt buying full armor even if he had 9k hes reason was "getting killed with a vandal is the same amount" i was so mad trying to explain. this video was very helpful for braindead players :)

My fav weapon, save or not, is hands down the stinger. The fact that it's so cheap, but can MELT enemies up close is so much fun. There's just a kind of joy to getting a triple with a stinger and realizing all of your enemies had phantoms or vandals.

But then you also say if you only survive with one specter, you may want to force up to increase your chances of winning the round. You want to force up versus their full buy?? This is at 6:40 Mark or so
First you win pistol. Second round you expect your enemies to eco, if they don't you will force 3rd round assuming you win second. This is because their third round becomes an eco, instead of their second If they eco second round (like they should in most cases) then you are expected to win that round. If you save like 3-5 spectres, you play a bonus, where you play spectre vs vandals. Throwing away the spectres would be too wasteful, so you play bonus instead, making sure you can full buy round 4. If they eco sound round, but your team plays poorly and wins the round, but with only 1 surviving. You only save 1 spectre, and your 4 teammates will be playing their bonus with say 4 ghosts and 1 spectre. That's not a good enough bonus round to have a chance of winning. So here you choose to buy 3rd round, and not play a bonus. Hopefully that helps
Last night I played with a whole team all 4 people said you should save round 1 and 2 to full buy round 3. And im like even though we won? They all swore it doesn’t matter if you round 1 and/or 2, you always save save buy lol. And they swore pros they watch and their radiant friends do this 😂
thats not a bad strat, cuz if u win first 2 rounds, that means your enemy has saved money to buy vandals in round 3, so to keep your win streak alive, you buy vandals to fight against vandals, instead of using your spectres to lose against the vandals.
Personally my fav weapon for eco round for both attacking andd defending is Stinger, very versatile for both mid range and short range since i also a yoru main usually i played aggressively both attack and defend
Plus extra credit the next round since shit be so cheap. Helps playing in these lower ranks bc I’m new but I already understand a lot of the game and a few game mechanics. Having only played overwatch 1, and avoiding the workshop mode of "buying" weapons, This economy "buy" phase sounds 100% confusing and overcomplicates a fps game.

As a chamber main I dont have to worry about economy
when enemy is at match point expect a FORCE BUY for every round to come next.
Stinger has some bad recoil in my experience so i just buy light shields and a sheriff on eco rounds

If you got 90K I think buying a vandal full shield is fine. You’ll still have like 85K at least, which should be enough for the half. :)
