This is currently impossible in EO BORE or with any missile on LAU-88. RP2 with LAU-117 works fine.

That's something that gives the Viper a slight edge over the Hornet and even the A-10
i mean i can very quickly mark 6 targets in the a-10, run in, pull up and fire and switch between each targets while rifling off mavericks. i imagine its nice for the f-16 though for those quick run ins where you want to blow up 2 targets and blast off after the fact.
As cool as this is, the A-10 is still better at hitting ground targets IMO. With the F-16 I need to make sure my coordinates are perfect, else I can't find what I'm looking for. My approach needs to be good and I need to make sure I don't come in too fast or else I'll be shot down. On the other hand with the A-10 I can find targets a lot easier and maneuver around better to hit what I need. Also the plane moves slow enough I have time to lock, shoot, find another target, and shoot without stalling so I can take out all the anti-air in one pass and then bomb or gun tanks/apcs at my leisure.

which module do you guys/girls think is the best module for a relative beginner who wants to do a bit of everything?
Hornet or viper. Both are true multi-role planes, it just depends on if you want to fly off carriers or not. Note the Viper is a little further behind in development.

I don't get the Mavs or TGP work 100%. When I click Missile Step, the circle tgt marker for the first mav disappears.
And I can't find a re-center action for the TGP that works, it always slews to a steeepoint. Only way I found to re-center is to click the right center mfd button...by trial and error. There has to be a better way?
Hey Cap ive been watching your F-16 vids because i have gotten the F-16 on the recent sale and i was asking people who do i watch and they said different things and most people said dont watch Grim Reapers and i just did it anyway but look where i am, ik how to dogfight with the HMCS and Aim-9x's and i know how to use the Snakeyes for bombing, you are probably not gona see this but i thank you Cap.

can you ripple more than 2 mavericks.?
Is it possible to ripple all 6 Mavericks to different targets or only 2 at a time?
2 only I think.
Hello ... I tried going through the forums but I can not find a solution for my big issue with the F16 Viper .... I can not enable NWS
I had it running this morning when did a cold start as always. I exited dcs and when I reloaded my mission this afternoon the NWS WILL NOT ENGAGE. I have the command mapped to my hotas throttle , and even the keyboard will not activate the damm NWS. May I ask what the hell am I missing I have been flying the F16 for 6 months never had any problems with NWS. I read online something about strut extention. Why wont NWS come on
Very odd. My best advice is to do a DCS repair and see if that fixes it.
do you mean ask ground crew for repair .. did that they just say unable to comply. Weird thing the msl step nws button was working fine before and even in waggs training mission for cold start the viper the step button works to turn on the NWS , however now in all my created missions I try and try but the msl step button works great for Air Ground modes and missile selection but by God it will not turn on my freaking NWS. Its very odd I sit on the ramp ready to taxi and I cant steer the Jet because NWS will not engage .. what next friend..
@@raymatton7564 Is it actually not working or just the light not lighting up? Have you tried taxiing? I was stupid and didn't turn up the NWS indicator brightness in the past...
is this only useable per station? IE, you can only ripple off 1 missile per station per button hold?
Haven't played DCS F16, but in BMS Falcon you could set ripple amount to 2 in the SMS page and then both misiles would launch to their respective targets after pressing pickle once so I would also imagine this being possible in DCS F16.
You can ripple up to 2 with this method.

Not sure but you can only ripple two missiles like this.
@@grimreapers Can confirm, you cannot ripple if you are carrying more than one Mav per pylon. If you're carrying 6 Mavericks, this will not work (currently?)

How do you uncage a Maverick? Pressing the button I have bound to Uncage turns on LSS of the TPOD. I haven't been able to ripple using the same exact setup as you have. I get a T instead of a C during the handoff and the Maverick will not accept the handoff. What could I be missing?
well, we were using F4 BMS procedures. It may be that DCS will never need un-caging?
@@grimreapers They auto-provide video with master arm
Try have the WPN (Mav) mfd as SOI, then press Uncage.
If you have TPOD as SOI you will engage the Search läser.

After I press MLS STEP the lock is gone. :(((( -> MAV Circle on HUD goes up and disappears. I don't have MAV 2nd circle .
:D so It works without LAU-88
so you can't do this with a lau loadout??

I think u can't ripple from from one rack, quite annoying that they didn't implemented that. Or even 3 ripples
Also found out that u can't ripple with the D's on the TER. What a freaking joke
