Thanks for the tutorial. I have this HP Pavilion dv9000 and still use it in 2019. The only thing that plagues me is the common problem with the Quick Launch buttons not working. I've discovered that when pressing the "Z" button the quick launch strip works again. I can see from your tutorial that the connections for the strip are under and around the "Z". I don't want to perform the full dismantling to get to the connections. What screws do I need to take out to remove the keyboard and Quick Launch strip?
Just how many different screw drivers do we need for the job? I was thinking only the first one you use (the classic one) is just enough...
What is the part connected to MB via wire neares to USB por in lower left?

Hi can the dv9000 and dv9500 have ssd sata and 8gb ram ?
@@sharukhkhan9242 I haven't tried it yet, but yeah it can take a ssd sata. Unofficially, it can take 8gb ram.
