Water jug aquaponics update2

Plants I replanted kept dying. I figured out you have to start the plants in the clay pellets.

When you were transplanting did you wash off all of the dirt from the roots?

yes. when I switch to a planter with clay pebbles, I rinse all the dirt off first, or the dirt will just wash down into the aquarium part of the planter
