The line “and I cannot fix your wounds this time” is such a powerful lyric, because sometimes (if you’re interpreting this song to mean you love someone who has depression/has self-harmed) you want to help and simply can’t sometimes. You’re resigned to the fact that these things happened, but are helpless yourself in your effort to help a loved one.
i even love this song as a letter to one's self.... sometimes being caught in the cycle of depression and loss leads to taking control however you feel you can... such a deep song

My Fiancee has never liked "heavier" music, but ever since I showed her Sleep Token I think she's more obsessed with them than I am! 😂I honestly believe that Sleep Token is a band that really anyone can enjoy, any walk of life, age group, etc. Every song of theirs has something to offer for everybody
You are right when you spoke about people not caring if it's a genuine first time reaction or not ..a thing with Sleep Token is their music has impact and can hit different even after multiple listens. I personally get so much joy and just broad spectrums of emotion from listening to ST and I also get the same seeing how other people expierence their music. I also agree with a lot of the things you said about this song. It is so well structured and lyrically hard hitting and it's going to be a meaningful song for so many who either struggle themselves or have loved ones who do. I lost my friend who I considered y little brother to overdose and one of the last things I said to him was I want to help you but don’t know how…. And I wish I was just able to get to him before I was too late and he lost himself one final time and it kill’s me that I just wasn’t able to tell him I love him one last time…..
Even a a metal head who loves the most brutal tracks in the genre. DYWTYLM really grew on me overtime, the chorus comes in at perfect times and creates a great progression.
