My parents are very strict when it comes to dating especially that i still live in their house, with their rules. Like Toni, i often get jealous of couples my age who get to travel locally, or get to do whatever they want. I often get insecure of my boyfriend's past relationship since they went to different places, had overnights in beaches with the whole family, and the fact i cant give that to him. I talk it out with him pero sometimes this problem is within me, and although he assures me, and never asks me to rebel i still feel sad, jealous. And everytime i feel all these things, i watch this video to remind me that its okay. And why it pays to wait. That in God's time, all our burdens, sacrifices will pay off and He will reward us with even greater things in life. So thank you toni, i dont have an older sister pero i get all the wisdom from you. Your videos are simple but you touch a lot of lives including mine.

I've been single for 5 years now. And mostly I questioned God na "Kailan ko kaya ma-meet si Mr. Right, Lord? Totoo ba kasi sya? Kung totoo man, ba't wala pa rin?". I've been using Dating apps just to find him. But at the end of the day, it made you realized na it's not about finding the right one, it's about making yourself to be the right one. Singleness is not a sickness. Yes, the pressure is there. Yung mga friends mo, kinakasal na, papalit palit na ng jowa, tapos ikaw consistent sa pagiging single. My ate's vow during her wedding. When i turned 31 at wala pakong bf i accepted it not because i lost the faith of having one but because i trusted God's plan in mylife.. I know that He knows the plans He has for me.. I cried then. She married at 33 to her 1st and last bf now her Pastor husband.. :) God bless you.. It will definitely come at His appointed time.. And if hindi ibibigay ni Lord ok lang din sakin. I tried to date someone pero hindi ako mapalagay kasi feeling ko pinipilit ko yung di tama. Yung tipong ngpipilit ko mgkaroon ng bf but God was so good and I let go the guy. 2016, a friend of mine introduced me to her friend. Very single and never been married. No gf since birth. And now we are married. It is so worth it na magwait at huwag ipilit yung gusto natin. Sobrang rewarding ng pag.aantay ko. Always remember that God's plans are better than ours. I grew up sheltered because my parents are conservative. I fear my parents so I chose to obey them. I always refuse sleep over with friends because I always assume that they will say no. I limited myself from talking with guys or getting comfortable with them because I don't want to make things deep. Now that I graduated and is already working, my parents are okay with everything that I was forbidden to do back then. Going out with my friends was the best part. I go home late at weekends. I still know my limitations. I think the hardest part of adjusting is opening my heart out to guys. I still pray for the right guy. Thank you Toni for sharing this to us; growing up, some of us have strict parents and it felt like being forbidden for most things is sad. It may be painful but eventually everything will be alright. I grew up sheltered because my parents are conservative. I fear my parents so I chose to obey them. I always refuse sleep over with friends because I always assume that they will say no. I limited myself from talking with guys or getting comfortable with them because I don't want to make things deep. Now that I graduated and is already working, my parents are okay with everything that I was forbidden to do back then. Going out with my friends was the best part. I go home late at weekends. I still know my limitations. I think the hardest part of adjusting is opening my heart out to guys. I still pray for the right guy.
Thank you Toni for sharing this to us; growing up, some of us have strict parents and it felt like being forbidden for most things is sad. It may be painful but eventually everything will be alright. Your time will come 🙏
