instead of turning the engines off when you land, find the key bind to the reversers. that really helps slow the airliners down by a lot in a short amount of time

@@TmarTn2 use the air brakes when flying and NEVER use the thrust reverser in the air
@@TmarTn2 also learn how to use your trim so the planes nose doesnt go up, its not entirely the flaps fault.

Yeah I like St Maarten too, been there twice on cruises, been to the beach once and held onto the fence as a jet was taking off, such a cool experience, especially when they come to land, looks like they’re gonna hit you lol
Also if you didn’t know, the bar that’s right at Maho beach has a rule and signs that say if you’re a woman and you take your top off you get a free drink lol. So when I was there saw TONS of college girl tittles 😂
For flight sim: You should definitely check out
the Lofoten peninsula and fly along side and over
the mountains and fjords off the west coast of
Norway Fun fact Tom Cruise is currently over
here shooting a film.
You could go to places like Åndalsnes and
Romsdalen, the Geirangerfjord, Sognefjord,
Jotunheimen, Jostedalsbreen which is the
remains of the great glacier from the last ice age,
trolltunga is definitely worth checking out, the
pulpit rock in lysefjorden where the fight scene in
the last mission impossible was filmed, maybe
Loen. Lots of more great points of interest. Even
the north cape in northern Norway.🇳🇴
My family lives on the Dutch side of st maartin and this looks spot on.

I’d love to see you do the longest haul flight in the world from Newark NJ to Singapore!! It’s 18 and a half hours and 9354 miles long!! Just take off from Newark, do some overseas flying and then fast travel to the descent into Singapore but fly through the city first!!
Depending on the wind it’s average is 19, longest is 21 hours

Hey Trev, don't normally comment on TH-cam videos but I'm loving this series and it's really fun to watch how you've progressed! I personally have around 5 years of experience in flight simulators and a few hundred hours in the A320 and a couple in the 747 (both -400 and -8i) so it's really neat to see how you're getting along from starting with virtually no experience. I just thought I'd offer up some tips if you'd like on how to effectively manage your speed, landing precision, and just a few other quirks that have really helped me grease my landings and feel more professional behind the yoke (or stick). I'm no professional pilot but I've gotten to the point where I feel comfortable flying large jets for long transatlantic flights with ATC, other pilots, and whatnot. Drop me a line if you're interested and see you in the skies!

Ive flown into Saint Martin too many times to count, there’s a restaurant right next to maho beach where I’ve been many times too, and you can watch the planes fly in and mess up everyone’s stuff on the beach. Also taking off is pretty cool because you take off towards the mountains and have to clear them to keep flying.
