Heyman definitely deserves a golden up because not only did he nail the acting but him being 58 years old and not an athlete taking a bump like that shows just how dedicated he is to his role.
Paul Heyman gets a Golden Up. Dude is an insanely good actor in situations like this, AND he got put through a table.
He should get an Emmy for that!
Paul Hayman is amazing, he doesn't take a bump often but when he does it's huge and means something. Like when it took the F5 from Lesnar
To know he actually doesn't sleep when it's needed to add to the story, it's so amazing.
Are wrestling shows able to win an Emmy? Because Paul Heyman deserves to win one. I mean the attention to detail is like no other. The looks, the tired eyes the 5 o'clock shadow it's just perfection
We know they get nominated and win ESPYS, would love for them to be nominated for Emmys for sure.
Paul Heyman is the GOAT. Dude looked like he'd caught the bubonic plague.
RIP Paul Heyman… 😢
He’s booking ECW matches in Heaven now…
He should take a leaf outta Chad Gable's book...that guy is out there no selling death.
😝 LOL that made me laugh!
Props to Heyman for the bump. Also props to The Bloodline for keeping him safe for the bump
They had a hard time getting him up for the powerbomb (or sold that very well!), as he isn't in the shape to help faciliate the move!
@@exilhamburger4802It was scary the way he caught the back end of the table, the way that the back end folded first and the way his head hit the ground when the rest of the table collapsed. Wouldn’t have been bad if it were a wrestler, but it was Paul Heyman.
The way he hit the table and the back half folded first. Sending him head first into the ground. He’s no spring chicken, hope he’s alright.
Ive NEVER seen Heyman look like that in the moments before the breakdown. Genuinely deserves an Emmy. I hope Nick Khan and Trips push for that, somehow.
That bump Heyman took was crazy gotta give him credit he made it look flawless
That Bloodline segment was worthy of a Golden Up 🥇👆🆙
These last 2 weeks of wrestling from raw to nxt to smackdown have been some of the best I've seen in years
Actually liked seeing Haliburton having a fun spot with Brunson. Maybe not on the level of Reggie and Spike Lee, but still fun. Also, can't wait till Netflix move, Fox cut the feed so much last night
Same dude it cut soooo muchhh bullshit!!!! Can't wait till jan Netflix no more cutting out!!!!
Is that just an American thing?cause smackdown is shown in the UK on a channel called tnt sports and nothing gets cut/muted etc?
@@bryangray936 its a fox thing yes here n America Channel 4 fox for me here n ks!!!! It cut out sooo fn much throughout show completely black screen cause fans chanting "offensive" shit aka cus words it sux!!!
I believe it's Raw that's headed to Netflix but SD will go to USA Network.
Special Mention: This was Kayla Braxton's last show with WWE
Nothing tops WWE. Yet another Banger on SmackDown.
I'm counting down the minutes when jim cornette reviews smackdown
I think that Jimmy is number 4. Roman together in a match with Cody, Kevin and Randy is a little bit to early.
Solo Sikoa has gone too far
Counter point....he didn't go far enough.
That may be the biggest pop Heyman’s ever gotten. The one Roman gets on his return will be deafening
I take it you've never seen an actual non WWE ECW show... 😏 Heyman has gotten some INSANE pops before
The fact that Paul haman took this beating and that bump through the table! Just.. DAMN
damn simon has been living at the gym damn arm muscles taking up the whole screen lol
That CrossRhodes really was crazy. I popped when I saw it lol
Same!! Such a ridiculously perfect execution haha
Paul Heyman is so damn good, and he always puts extra thought into his physical appearance, his eyes being so puffy, red amd swollen, like he hasn't slept and has been crying. Just perfection, if everyone put as much thought into the details as Paul wrestling would be as mainstream as other sports.
Wrestlings MVP of the week is a sixty year old, overweight guy that has no athletic abilities at all. This Business is awesome
Paul Heyman going through the table should have been a golden up.. Truly the Goat👍
“Ma-adison Square Garden” -Logan Paul, right before the screen cut to black once again.
someone flip gestured to logan from the audience, im guessing thats the reason for some black screens
Top marks to the "security" who took their bumps well. Paul Heyman was awesome.
The guy who took the Cross Rhodes deserves a contract...
@@tomseville2345He’s either a local Indy guy or a PC trainee. He earned his pay and more for that one.
Introducing the NEW Bloodline Wiseman…. JIM CORNETTE!!!!!!!!!!
He has said that he wished he could manage Jacob Fatu.
That would be gold
😂😂😂, My entire neighborhood would hear me lose my shit.
Yes
The history with Heyman...the promo battles that would get real; OMG...
Nah, more likely to get Armando Estrada. Would be a perfect fit
Man Solo is boring as hell 😂 why did they bury the guy if they planned all of this crap 😅
It really has that old school feel to it. WWE has been killing it for the past few weeks.
Oh yeah, Smackdown is on a roll!!
Thanks Simon!
Please bring back AEW Collision ups and downs!
Thanks!
Sadly it won't due to the view count (I wish they could but for a business perspective, it needs to be done. Hell there's no U & D for TNA Impact)
There are so many times that it becomes clear Simon doesn't watch the show and just works off of other people's recaps and highlights and this episode is full of them... or he is intentionally getting stuff wrong to set up jokes, which is even more annoying.
I like how this version of the Bloodline feels like a gang, whereas with Roman it was more like you were basking in royalty. Never would've guessed Paul Heyman would have the most sympathy in the company.
Roman, CM Punk, Brock teaming up to save Paul E.?
I know it probably won't happen, but Lesnar and Roman teaming up to save/avenge Heyman would be EPIC!
I literally just said “Simon you boutta piss me off” Lmaoo I’ve been waiting . This episode of sd was great 💨
I had several instances where the screen would go black and the sound would cut off. I am guessing Fox was censoring something but it really took away from the show. That has to get a brown down! On the other hand, Sika gets a golden up for a marvelous career and all the current talent he helped to mold into stars.
They cut the feed. Logan Paul got flipped off. F**k You Solo was chanted. And any other use of profanity.
They'll bring back Jimmy Uso for this fued before Roman Reigns.
Naomi should not have been the one to qualify.
She'll just botch and make the match look bad
Everything about this was absolutely fire. Heyman looking dishevelled and tired, the stubble and back eyes
The way Jacob Fatu was pacing around
The crowd reaction to Heymans non acknowledgment. The Cody stuff (did you notice Orton’s reaction to the wwe title defence comment) even the MIATB stuff was on point and the right people won. Unbelievable show
as good as smackdown has been lately, the audio cut out and screen black outs are getting to frequent and massively annoying.
Kinda hard to enjoy the show when they mute it or black it out so frequently. But I like that Simon got "cut" multiple times in this video. 😆 You always make me laugh!
Dude that took the crossrhodes did the best bump ever. Thankfully vince isn't running things or else he'd be fired
Not gonna lie, I thought Heyman's days of taking bumps were long gone, which is what makes him taking a bump like that now feel like a huge deal.
It felt like a huge deal when took the F-5 through the table at SummerSlam 2022; THAT was thought to be it for Paul bumping...
Wait for roman reigns return, solo sikoa will be screwed
As usual Simon great job u get the GOLDEN UP.
I’m a diehard AEW fan there my #1 promotion I’m not like everyone else & just 💩 on them to look cool. I’m also a wrestling fan so I watch MLW/TNA/ect… so last nite was my 1st time watching WWE since Roman left(He’s my favorite WWE wrestler)& I have to admit AEW has the best matches in wrestling hands down but damn WWE has the storylines down packed! I’m so excited to see Roman come back with the USO’s & kickass! Real wrestling fans should be happy cuz we have Forbidden Door 🚪 this weekend life is good! Don’t tell no one but Shane McMahon mite show up 😮😮😮
You don't talk crap about WWE because you're an AEW fan? *checks your previous comments on this channel* yeah, no tribalism or hate there at all...😂 literally one of the biggest WWE haters around! Every comment is disgusting crap and insanely bias against WWE. But nice try, AEW drone 😂
So I'm assuming there will be a new wise man of the bloodline rikishi
Simon brought tickets to the gun show!
Number 4 to help team Cody will be Paul Heyman.
Heyman's training arc will be legendary!
Jimmy Uso
The only nitpick i had is what Randy orton said. This version of the bloodline didnt put you out. Technically he could say Solo but honestly it just seemed a little odd.
18 months was a while ago. It probably just slipped his mind at the moment. I agree that calling out Solo specifically would have made way more sense.
I was SO happy to hear the Brunson chants 😄
WWE is on fire right now. The matches are not predictable. The storylines are incredible. I'm so invested in the Bloodline, I can't wait for Roman's return.
Heyman deserves an emmy. Bloodline without a Wiseman leaves them to run wild.
Paul took a big bump!!! lots of trust in that jump. He could have landed wrong! Now Paul can not be on next week's shows. WWE has to "sell" this for the storyline to work. Paul is not an athlete so cannot be medically cleared. They need to say he has some broken ribs and won't be back for a while.
A neck injury and broken ribs. Show pictures of Punk, Cody and others visiting him at the hospital. The next time he comes out, neck brace on, he’ll get a huge pop. And then he announces the return of The Tribal Chief, to an even bigger pop.
🩸 bloodline civil war is gonna be epic
I think you mean *if* Roman Reigns returns. Solo Sakoa has been pulling a lot of strings to prevent this from happening. I mean, he's like Denathor in Return of the King.
When was the last time you saw Paul take a bump? Crazy investment. I loved this episode and this storyline has me hooked still!❤
Pacers and Knicks continuing their feud is everything
WWE Rematch Counter: 95 (No Rematches)
Why is there an MJF shirt on Smackdown?
Simon. Come on dude. Heyman deserved a golden up. You need to revise this episode
The dumb thing about that first women's triple threat was Graves freaking out that Indi Hartwell attacked Jade "and the ref didn't see it."
OK, and? What's the ref going to do? There's no DQ.
Jacob Fatu gets a Golden Frieza up for Lifting Heyman
I havent watched a video in forever. I remember i got angry about hiw much this channel sucked off aew
So when I first got back into wrestling right after WM 37 (grew up on the new generation and attitude era) I was way more interested in the stories and the behind the scenes stuff and the matches were my least favorite. I found myself skimming through matches but now? These stories and presentations are so amazing and interesting that I don't skip any matches because they have found a way to make me not only care about every story but I also care about the matches and seeing whoever I root for get the win. I haven't been this into it since the attitude era. I find myself thinking about how many days till the next show and I'm legit excited about it..this is what happens when you're in tune with the fans and write good stories (cough tony khan cough) but yea I legit care about every single storyline. Yall thought Paul Heyman not acknowledging solo was a big pop? Wait till the day Roman's music hits and him and the wise man walk out. Make sure you tune in because its gonna be one of the biggest pops ever. I think they should do it at an international PLE because that pop might bring the building down
Jimmy could be the 4th
#4 will be jimmy
Toma Tonga and Tonga Loa are weird man. Why does Toma act like he's a rabid dog? Like one show he legit just like growled and barked on the mic. I get the idea behind it but not gonna lie it makes me chuckle when he does it
I wouldn’t tape my feet to the floor when Roman arrives. I may have to dodge debris from the roof being blown off from the pop.
"He told Paul Heyman "Hey man..."" Goddammit Simon :D
Smackdown was a little better than last week. Simon, please consider being a wrestling news anchor on the morning videos. I'd rather listen to you than Wilbourn
This won’t happen because of brock being blackballed but Paul getting revenge with a stable of his guys with brock, Roman and punk putting their differences aside to make bloodline 2.0 pay for what happened to Paul-e would be goated
Been waiting for this!
Who’s hotter Indy hartwell or Tiffany Straton?
So when is the new tag team of Simon "The Conspiracy Theorist" Miller and The Repo Man debuting?!
I could’ve sworn someone was going to save Paul. Holy shh
He's bringing back the beast INCARNATE BROCK LESNAR!
did you see the kid that gave nia jax the middle finger?
That sign lil jimmy uso save us
Sorry I'm done with WWE . The bloodline angle was old a year ago. And speaking of annoying , Jade Cargill strutting around showing a great body and tons of makeup. Bring her back when she learns how to wrestle and talk on a mic. And Cody looking about a GQ model. Really miss his dad, Bruno , and Super Star. Blood not makeup.
The Bloodline attacking Heyman getting over 60 million views across social media platforms disagree with you. You are free to be tired of it if you want, but to say it got old a yr ago is just your opinion. It's not a fact. Roman isn't even back on TV and it's arguably hotter than ever. Ppl hype of Punk and Drew's "feud" as the greatest thing ever, but this is attracting more viewers than that even without Roman & The Rock being on TV.
1️⃣
How did you miss giving Paul a golden up. Booooo
Phil must have been on holiday this week as Ben-Roy and Ryan shared the editing duties this week. As far as SmackDown last night, it was excellent. But a Brown Down for FOX kept blacking out the screen. A total of 40 minutes. It’s ridiculous! Can’t wait for SmackDown to move back to the USA Network in October
I’m super sold in these main event storylines. I don’t know which is better; Raw’s telenovella within the Judgement Day which happens to involve both Heavyweight Champion and Women’s World Champion, is just fun and exciting, and Smackdown’s more serious war against the Bloodline storyline that is somehow still thriving entertaining after 2 years.
Also, I’m happy WWE is bringing back these small storyline here in there like DIY, Alpha Academy, and promoting some individual superstar. I always say, to keep a Star, you have to keep them relevant and by relevant, I mean let them be involve in a storyline that isn’t for a title. But I do wish to see more titles defend in regular tv especially if the titles aren’t going to be defended in a PLE.
The bloodline is definitely got more potential
When roman came back, in a perfect world it would be roman jimmy jey rock vs new bloodline 4v4
Man, Kayla getting brushed off as her last on screen moment is vintage WWE
I was hoping she'd get one last jab at Heyman
She got a speech at the end of the live show...
@@tomseville2345 yeah which we saw from fan video because it wasn’t on screen.
Lets
Go
KNICKS!!
I stg i thought corbin was standing next to dvon dudley when i watched it live lastnight😂
I think the return story for Roman may be that he *had* considered himself retired after the Mania loss; "...but after what they did to MY wiseman..."
I want Simon's shirt, love Metallica.
A white Metallica shirt is strange
I’m hoping that eventually we get The Tribal Chief, Jimmy, Jey, & Zilla v. The Tribal Queef, Tonga, Tama, & Jacob. I’m not interested in Roman teaming with Cody in a match.
Watching from Jamaica love your content keep up the great work
Davenport is just cool... she should have won so I can see her on my TV more
Isn't Smackdown next week in Canada? They've been doing Smackdowns from the same place as the ppv (ple) for the last few times now.
It makes sense financially. They've got the full setup already, so why not just do another show? Plus, international fans always sell out their venues.
Did WWE forget they have a tag division?
This is why smack down should be 3 hours both tag titles have not been defended on a ple since wm40.
Why does everyone PRETEND women's wrestling is good?!?!? Its botch after botch and BAD acting!!!
... @simon LA knight should definitely call his elbow the yeabow.....😂😂in South African slang that literally translates to yeah/yes😂😂
Come on Simon.... PLEASE... I'm cheering for KENNY the Kendo Stick!!!
Jacob intro is lite!
Not a sport fan, so I was pissed they purposely showed Jalen during LA Knight's entrance to upstage him; and then fans only cared about the NBA guys all match and afterwards, like they were beach balls or CM Punk from 2014-18... 🤣🤣
Just looking at Paul, it's truly amazing that he would be cleared to take bumps (which ALL performers taking physical bumps, ESPECIALLY non-workers have to be); for the first time (ever) he looked like the "middle aged father-of-two" he used to call himself when begging off from babyfaces after antagonizing them and the fans. Also, EVERY other time he took bumps was in the context of him deserving it (save the last time this happened in MSG, but that would contradict the current angle, so I won't mention it 🤣🤫)...
When Paul heyman comes out saying"my name is PAUL HE MAN ", ETC ETC THEN ANNOUNCED THE TRIBAL CHIEF A CROWD AND FANS ACROSS THE WORLD ARE GONNA LOSE THEIR SHIIIITTTT
I haven't seen the FOX version, but I can only imagine how unwatchable it was; there were fan bird-flips, profane chants, and I'm guessing they freaked over the women's outfits even *possibly* coming undone, especially Tiffany's or Jade's...
Man, I wish smackdown wasn't on Fox! I'm getting really sick of having the sound and or picture go out because of network censors!!!!
