- I had recently visited the incredible town of Boca De Tomatlan but now went just a bit further up the coast to Mismaloya and Playa Mismaloya in the state of Jalisco and the west side of Mexico. The beaches had been really incredible along the way and I was soon about to be in the town of Puerto Vallarta.

William, do be careful but not paranoid. Just like in the states, places that are petfectly safe in the daytime, like Hollywood and the Sunset Strip, after dark becomes a whole different scene. Dangerous. I loved that little town. I could definitely spend a couple of weeks there. Your videos are absolutely beautiful. Pool tricks were great. It sounded like the children loved them as well. Happy travels my friend.🙂

Look for cenadurias or homes where they prepare and sell food called “comida corrida” you can enjoy a home cooked meal for a few pesos

If you want to see clean water in the Jalisco coast you should go to Tenacatita beach, is my favorite beach AND there are some corals, its truly beautiful ❤️ I hope you can go there

There's incredible snorkeling by los arcos, but you probably need to take a boat/kayak out there. The water is super clear.

I hung out at Mismaloya, in the 60's before there was a hotel on the beach. It was a pristine beach back then. You can see by this video, those days are long gone. :-(

Thanks for the entertaining video! I really think you would like a day and night in Yelapa that you can reach by water taxi. There is a beer drinking pig along the hike to the waterfall. The drone footage would be amazing and they parasail above the village from the mountains.

There is a little zoo in Mismaloya that we always visit while there. When headed north to PV stop in La Piazzetta for some great food say hello to Mimmo the owner. Farther north is Sayulita if you are not stoping there you should.

You woke up my travel memories! I visited Mismaloya in 1967, the only way to get there was by boat from PV. The shallow bay had no pier, and we walked through the water onto the shore. The place looked like a paradise at the edge of a tropical rain forest. Three years earlier they filmed there the movie The Night of the Iguana. There were a couple of bungalows for visitors, and we stayed overnight. When we explored the jungle around the bay, we found the original movie set with the bar. We later enjoyed there a tropical evening with food, drinks, and a magnificent sunset. Now, the place looks like paradise lost.

I remember being there, and there was some kind of waterfall over a big rock and the water was going into some kind of pool. A few classmates were standing on the rock and then our bathing suits were ripped and we were all naked. It was that strong. It was so embarrassing also.
You don't need to take that risk walking along those roads. It makes your viewers nervous. Think about it in terms of time. If you take a shared taxi you save time and you can record more videos.

Cool video William! We love that area of Mexico. I know you enjoy walking but you can hop on the bus for about 8 pesos. The buses run from South Puerto Vallarta down to Boca de Tomatlan.

I live in Mismaloya. The water changes clarity and color with the different currents coming and going. When fishing we look for the blue water- cristal clear.
we went snorkling there on the left side near the rocks and all the way out saw lots of fish, right side a black hole must of been at least 30 feet down

dude you missed out on a lot in Mismaloya, you missed out on the zoo great snorkeling around Los Arcos not sure if you know about the devils cap? There's actually a few resorts in Mismaloya (Casa Blanca you don't want to stay there if your own a budget) not far from P.V. now you should stop by at Pinky's Tattoo when your in P.V. say hola to Pinky for me if you do keep up the vid's get's a bit more pricey in P.V. I love it though my second home! Salute!
As usual thoroughly enjoyed your quirky video, and of course your wonderful drone shots. Watched one of your other videos with my granddaughters and they luved your pooool tricks, kept saying "how does he do that". We are going to spend six weeks next year in PV area so my husband and I are looking forward to all you have to say about the area.
