City rankings are fun but there are too many different metrics so no one ranking is good for all. Short term vs long term economics, quality vs quantity of jobs, all make a big difference. London is declining, paris is having a crisis, madrid is poor, rome is underdeveloped, singapore is too expensive, tokyo is declining, dubai is a bubble, barcelona is overtouristed, only Amsterdam is a place that might still be a bit healthy. Oh and new york is in the USA which is having inflation.
New York smells horrible, very expensive, homless, rats, horrible subway , overrated and sinking .... Skyscrapers do not define quality of life but inestments for foreigners not living in NYC ... Most of Skyscrapers are empty .
@@jeanbolduc5818 You're right, NYC's environment is unpleasant (dilapidated brick tenements and ego-booster skyscrapers juxtaposed), and the social fabric is unhealthy from the financial industry which doesn't produce anything having too much weight. Similar to DC where the government which also doesn't produce anything have too much weight. Both have a culture of parasitic wealth.

Completely wrong information given. Dubai cannot be a desired city to live in. People just go there to work and thereby stay. As soon as the job finishes they just run away from that city / country. May be one of the 10th worst country to stay in.
