In this video, I have talked about the preparation that I did when I sat for my PCE Written exam.

You don’t need masters mostly but it depends on which country you are from .

Good day. Please, what are the pitfalls that usually make foreign educated physiotherapists to be rejected in the credentialing? How is the success rate per year? Up to 7 passes in every 10?
Check the CAPR's website, follow the exact instructions in submitting form A,B and C. Then let your university send in form D. Make sure to get 7 in all the sections of ielts academics, finish up the Canada physiotherapy health care context course and then if the alliance finds your education to be very different from that of Canada, you have to follow whatever advice they give you.
Remember make sure your clinical hours are upto the required number.
Make sure you pass your Ielts. Except your university is not accredited or that your curriculum is not standardized if you do the above you are most likely to become eligible to write the PCE after the credentialling

I wanted to become a licensed physiotherapist here, but I keep seeing that I require a master's degree in physiotherapy from an accredited Canadian university. What are your thoughts on this? Is a graduate degree required for someone who was educated in India?

@@ardently750 Hi, so it turns out that if you have a degree in PT from other countries, you do NOT need a graduate degree.
I had emailed the official governing body of PT licensure in Canada, and the below is a snippet of their response:

If you obtained your Physiotherapy Degree in India there is no need to obtain a Physiotherapy Degree in Canada.
---------------------------------------
The only requirements are that:
1) your international degree/credentials be evaluated
2) you take and pass the competency exam
My hypothesis as to why you don't need a Canadian masters degree is because there actually isn't any university in Canada that offers a bachelor's in physiotherapy. As a result, a Canadian wishing to pursue physiotherapy must obtain a masters degree.
However, other countries DO offer bachelor's of physiotherapy, and so the bachelor's degree you obtain elsewhere is EQUIVALENT to a Canadian masters degree.
I think this is why the credential evaluation is done -- they are checking whether or not the bachelor's in physiotherapy that you obtain elsewhere covers equivalent content to a masters in physiotherapy that you can obtain in Canada. But this is just my hypothesis based on the email I received, so I would advise you do your own research about this if you're curious!

Yes for credentials you need IELTS Academic 7 overall. Then only you can sit for PCE Exam.
