Are you sure that we can take 23×3 on student visa? I tried to claim for it and called the air India customer service..they said there is no extra baggage allowance for students. I called twice and confirmed. Can u clarify how this works?

Depends on the airline. For students, Air India allows 3 pcs check-in luggage for economy. For non-student economy they allow 2 check-in luggage. Other airlines rules vary according to the airline norms.

It depends dear. 23kgs ku mela pochu na athuku ethamathiri they have calculations and they will tell you. It's better to split between 3 luggages so that you are not charged. Since I was not aware, I had to pay
A piece should not exceed 32kgs thats the max limit for baggage. In economy class piece concept 23kgs(per piece), you can add weight upto 32kgs a piece and pay extra, for business class 32kgs(per piece) no extra weight allowed so you can add bag by paying extra.
