I really enjoy this video. Reminded me of my recent trip to FL back in July doing job hunting of where I would like to transfer to from Oregon. I did over 400 miles driving. Started in Jacksonville, (2 nites) to Boca Raton (1 night) to Orlando then to Clearwater beach (2 nite). Brought me a smile seeing Lake Worth (where my grandmother lived) and Hollywood (where I went for a few hrs since I was born in Hollywood Calif..why not go to the other famous Hollywood. lol. I was very interested in town name Perry...really cool! Love the sunset from that part of region too...so relaxing and beautiful. This is the sort of thing my wife and I like to do once we moved to Florida this Fall. Safe travels Robert.

It was nice to see you take your mom to see her friends. That homestead was beautiful. Had no idea there was ranch land out there in Florida. AWSOME. After my father passed away we would take mom camping and boating at TABLE ROCK LAKE in Missouri. She had so much fun, it was great that she came out with my wife and I. So many FUN memories made camping and boating. Miss her a ton. 😪 Cherish the time. Make great memories. Man, I could go on and on with funny stories. It's her first year on earth and she's still figuring out stuff. That "what are you looking at?" Had me in stitches. Nice seeing the area surrounding Pelicamp, and that you are including your “Mom” (Alma, I believe?) in this and other videos. She seems to love traveling with you and is obviously so proud of her son, it’s good seeing her participate in the chats. I love that she says hi to everyone, and that in return folks say hello, and ask after her. Hey Robert (and Mom!), nice to take a Sunday morning drive with you guys. You mention that the Florida State Park fees went up--I bought an annual pass for $60 when I was there in spring of 2021, which was a bargain, especially compared to how much California charges ($195!). In my experience Florida State Parks (The "Real" Florida) are some of the best in the country. Too bad you didn't have time to explore Highland Hammock, the Cypress Swamp Trail is really cool. Happy trails!
