Tbh it’s the only form of entertainment in my opinion that has a requirement of talent. Hollywood has become a big joke, especially with all these “influencers, TikTokers” and stupid mumble rappers. And I love how squid game actually broke the stereotype of what people thought of Korean culture, everyone is bts, everyone loves anime actually that’s not quite the case there is more to it. Korean culture might take over the world one day. Hollywood looks like its going downhill rn. Look what happened with Alec Baldwin’s latest cast.

I remember when I lose game, I used said "I died' in korean. I and my friend both knew it's not real, but detail rules of games made us so serious. Most korean game what I played is so fun to concentrate all my energy to win. I think director has same memories of my generation's childhood. And I guess it's one of motivation for making squid game series. He and all actors did such a good job. I'm so happy to share my childhood memories with many people.

well to be fair in all movies/shows the top 3 or 4 actors are actually the main cast and they only promote the work. The actor playing Ali had only a supporting role same as the other cast who also had big impactful roles but are not as important as the main -34 of the story. Im surprised there is 4 of them tho I wonder if the police undercover guy will be resurrected in season 2 if he is promoting Squid game with these 3...

Well, he reads it in the Romanic version of the name and obviously the correct way to pronounce is lost in translation. But at least he remembers the name of each one and looking at the interview he did his homework trying to make HIS audience more interested in the actors career beside Squid Game.

Like the most commons last names in Korea (Kim: Gim, Lee: I and Park: Bak ) don’t even sound or should be written like the way we know so is not that bad the job that he is doing.
