Very insightful video aka. I was k30 when I tried for wings and I didn't get it till I got to k31 on a server that's already more than a year old. I tried 5 times before I got it and I got zerod all five times 😅 but I the 5th I was already at 5th with 620m positive and 200m negative I didn't have the sol or rss to heal and my alliance leader spoke to everyone on the server to stop all attacks and they listened. Everyone above me kept attacking but everyone below me stopped. I didn't know this happened I woke up the next morning after svs and saw I got my wings it was a really touching moment for me because there were two of us in my alliance that were trying for wings he was 6th and he stepped down for me
For those FTPers or very light coiners like me, the best time to get wings is when the svs has a horrible one-sided unfair matchup. The power players tend to lose their interest and most players will be more carefree because they think the result has been decided. If you're on the underdog side, play a sniper role....warrant and hit those careless players. If you're on the winning side, go to the enemy server and occupy Temple. The resistance is usually very low.
Agree, it’s exactly the case happened to me Am a ftp and got my wings with positive net score when we lost the war, big players lost a lot and tended to turn conservatives, yet the opponents become careless and I was lucky to catch some good targets In other words, small players having higher chance to get their wings when the matchup is unfair
We have seen this on our older server as well. Also, bugs are more willing to tolerate negative scores when we are overmatched and losing. When scores are closer, they can start blaming & punishing players who lose a lot of points. The time to take risks is when it doesn’t hurt the server overall.
when i first played svs, i was horrible and got my wings the wrong way. i was hated and ridiculed for it, but i worked really hard on my buffs/debuffs and after 1.5 years, i am just getting back in the game and i am doing very well so far. thank you for all your pvp tutorials! you made a big difference!

It’s mostly fear that prevents people from obtaining wings. Or lack of understanding how the fighting actually works and how to read scouts. It’s also way better to get them when you’re smaller as the risk of being wiped out is much easier to recover from. Fear only grows with the account size if you haven’t gotten them yet.
No, but there are definitely times when everything is against you, one can be fearless and try to gain the wings, but if the server is full of people who can never have enough and despise weak players, there is nothing left to do.
I can relate to that; as a (very weak, and I know it) K37 who's powerful on paper but poorat PvP in practice the thought of having to rebuild fills me with dread!
I always seem to have more troops than I can ghost (a lot more), and I'm the biggest player in my alliance at 900m power (k35) so I have no support. I always just find it too risky. Our server HATES people who get negative points, and often declares them KOS. They claim they don't mind negative points if you're trying to fight and only hate bubble drops, but really they just hate anyone who goes negative. That's the real fear.
Following from my previous comment I must thank my Server wholeheartedly for getting together and all (but one... there's always one 🙄) of the players with Wings agreed to totally sit out one SvS and just provide targeting information to players without. We hoped the opposing server would agree to do the same for a fairer fight, but sadly it wasn't to be because they were Bubble or Burn and cooperating on practically anything 'for the Server' was anathma to them... because of this we lost badly, though we did manage a Throne Truce so no Turtles, but in exchange gained 4 new Winged players who can help more fully in future SvS conflicts and who, along with others who tried for the first time but didn't quite make Top 5, got a great learning experience... I was lucky enough to get Wings and I learned *SO MUCH* though all my horrble mistakes I'm now not only more powerful, I also have more confidence (I know if I don't have to panic and fall apart stupidly because I know I'm strong enough to survive a paired K40 Rally, which I would never have believed until it happened, and escape... plus of course never having been in SvS before I had so many SoL to recover losses I could cope with the losses that *did* occur) and know what stupid errors to avoid in future; sadly the way I always seem to learn! 🤣 Even better, for all the new Wing bearers the Server agreed to let them take turns in sitting on the Throne for a fortnight which as well as allowing *Wonder 2* to be opened by each of them, for even more gains in capability, was a good experience in communicating with other Servers before SvS to discuss possible Throne Truces, if agreed and understanding the 'stresses' of being King/Queen when being arbiter on internal disagreements. All in all a superb experience... and your advice on preparation really helped; now I've gone from K37 then to K39 now and am starting to look at your Siege tutorials!
I got my wings a couple of months ago after a few attempts. There are definitely many factors involved, like you mentioned. Having a strong alliance was key for me. The enemy server match up can be a wild card, depending on how aggressive they are or how good/bad their bubble discipline is. I got most of my points from defense, reinforcing team mates whose bubbles dropped and cross-reinforcing during rallies. We had a very persistent player from the enemy server who kept coming over to start stuff, which helped a lot. I only went to enemy server one time towards the end to make sure I kept top 5, and was positive on points up to that point, but my team mates had already conquered the enemy throne, so the negative points didn't matter then. Anyway, it was a mix of luck, being in the right place at the right time, and strong teamwork!
A strategy that ensures lightweight coin gets wing is T1cav defense. Flat buffs on attack and HP to expand the army over T1cav 100 million and boost the archer debuff. With effective defense until the end in the future. If there is a player who can send strong siege reinforcements, vulnerability becomes infinitely lower.
Yeah, T1s definitely help. The only problem is that it takes time to set up properly, and they have to hit you. You can’t do much attacking with T1s 😅 But yes, I agree. It has certainly helped a lot of players do well in SvS
It took me almost a year and a half as I am free to play player. I learned some very key things. 1- Skip 1-2 SVS and save teleports and SOL 2- Make on strong PVP march and enough t1 to fill your hospital 3- Be prepared to play hours and hours looking for targets 4- Ask others to help you scout targets 5- learn to ghost 6- people dont like you messing with their temples, great place to get people to come attack you good luck
I always have a lot more troops than I can ghost. I'm currently K35 at 920m power and in an small alliance that can offer no support in reinforcements. The real fear is going negative and being hated by the bigs on my server who really just despise anyone who goes negative, often declaring them KOS if they go negative a few times.
In my server you have to get above 1b score to guarantee the top 5. In some svs it might not be enough. I'd say in servers like a year old or more, if you are a small player you should be at least k33 and did your gears and refines on a march. But getting a billion points hurts too much on source of life. So light of server war researchs should be maxed to increase total troop power revived by a single sol. Last light of server war research unlocks at k35. I wouldn't try too hard and stall my progress in order to get wings in a less likely situation. Of course opponent server also change the outcome. If the enemy server isn't active, some lucky hits might place you at top5. Hoard source of lifes and don't waste them. Having a defense will also help because it is not easy to find keeps to attack during svs. Not necessary though.
I got my wings a couple of months ago at K33 with 250m power. I got 0ed twice during that, but i kept pushing as Aka said! my server is over 2 years old but with good perseverance, 4th & 5th place are almost always within reach. You should also mention point 6, LUCK plays a big part in this! :)
It really depends on the server. On my server, when someone who isn't in the clique of 5 big coiners scores negative in SvS - they hunt such person in tiles and burn the AC of their alliance. Overall - before we got merged with another server, we have had only a handful of people with wings on our server, as those same 5 accounts keep rotating in the top 5 places. When someone is trying to make a push and message them - they would deliberately take a hit to score additional millin points, only to push that person out from the top5. Once they did it even to their own alliance member, who has stretched as thin as possible to score high and recover with limited SoLs she had.
Yes; Aka's advice is solid as usual but he does seem to play on a server(s) where he really hasn't met any peope like this which waaaay too many people (including me) unfortunately have.
My server does try to help smaller people get wings sometimes but they also hate people who go negative say 3 or 4 times, especially if you are the reason to lose the war. They'll make you KOS and that's the main reason I don't try in SVS... I'm too fat to ghost all my troops at K35 / 900m power and a small alliance with no support = probably frequent negative points.
Every time I tried to get wings, big players would show up and push me out of the top 5. On my third attempt I spoke to some of them and said check me out, I'm 5th, I may not get this chance again, please chill and I'll send you stamina, rss or whatever you need as a thank you. However, there was one player on the enemy server who always pushed me to 6th place whenever I got into top 5. It was infuriating because it was clearly being done on purpose and this player pretty much admitted it. I did not know why this player had a problem with me until I dug through my old reports and saw I stole their sub city 2 years ago 🤦♂. Anyway, with the help of my alliance frantically finding targets until the final seconds of SVS I was able to secure my wings in spite of that deliberate sabotage. I wish everyone luck because if you don't do it in the first few months in the server, it becomes very difficult to do it later when the top 8 bigs are scoring billion plus points.

This is another well done and most timely video for me (as well as the next one). My most serious problem is time: I work long hard hours every weekend and making the time and finding the energy is challenging. I can not go greatly negative due to not having 3 full marches. In battlefield I have developed an appreciation for being effective with one, maybe two marches. I typically ghost most of my troops and keep them in reserve to replenish my main attack march. I will find the time and energy. As additional motivation i have had players leave the alliance to 'Get their wings' and none have yet achieved their goal. It would be great if I got mine before any of them get theirs.
Me too 😢 working 11/12 hours a day only during the weekends is hard, I tried a couple of times but didn't go great, very good discipline of the bubble on the other server, and only the big guys unbuttoned 😅. I said to myself just keep on trying maybe some day I will get lucky 😁. I am looking forward to your next video🤗
I got mine in maybe an hour of active playtime. I've got kids with special needs, can't sit around and play for hours on end. I built a fortress and simply went over, attacked an unbubbled castle very likely to be empty and was just slow to port. Got hit a few times and that was basically it. Even had a positive score in the end. I was K33 and had maybe 300 million power

Great video Aka. All I can say is that the longer you leave it the harder it gets. It took me about a year and a half to get them. I was a K33 and finished 2nd with about 300m points. But once you get them, it gets easier - you seem to lose that fear factor and gain confidence from it. Just keep plugging away and anyone can get it. Only thing not to do is suicide wings - it just looks bad and can annoy many players trying to get them

I am one of those patient (LOW COINERS) guys that waited until i built an insane army with premium subgens all decked in Achae Gear, but quickly realized i went a little crazy on my troops & had to go up to k35 from k33 so i could ghost correctly. oh well, we all make mistakes right? lol. @ this point i have a rare account (almost k36) that can fully debuff most keeps @ my size. sooooo, which should be my main focus during server war, understanding most temples are a suckers game, lol.

the negatives on my server counts as only the net positive ones in total of all svs´s are allowed to get throne. We keep track with an excel sheet, the person highest in net points on that sheet is getting throne next for 2 weeks. If someone gets high negatives they get slandered in WC. the result: barely anyone is participating in svs or trying for wings. If you put up massive negatives, youll have to get out of that negative hole too to get throne rotation.
@@alexedes921 I agree. It kills the fun, I hate that our bigs chose that path for our server. The last svs they burned down an AC for a week because a k37 accidentally had a lot more negatives than positives. No one works together anymore and no one participates. Maybe a dying server is what theyre going for
We used to do something like that as well on my server, but we stopped after a while. We kept losing SvS and everyone was wondering why and blaming it on small players that were dropping bubble. We ended up scrapping the spreadsheet when we found out that it was actually the big players that were losing too many points! They didn’t like the spreadsheet after that 🤣🤣
Oh damn, that sucks. I know a lot of players are very conscious of negative points, including me. However, for me personally, it would depend, if the player already has wings, they should hold back and let others try to get their wings, and getting negative points shouldn't be an issue, unless the player is notorious for having negative points, like every svs, this player gets more negative points. In my server we have a couple of those, one was consistently top 1 for negative points, but recently, he stopped participating in svs, maybe someone advised him, but we still have another big player, that still gets more negative points, I wonder if he'd stop this time, they don't need to get top 5 anyway, they already had their wonder 1 and 2.

It's the bigs for me. There was a time when every 5 SVS they would step out to allow for new wings, but then blood of ares came into the equation and that was that. Today, many are saying to not even attempt until everything in the normal acadamy is completely researched. Also still working on the debuffs. Only have 3 sub gens completely set. Edit: I also heard people say in videos that 8 Billion is now considered weak. Considering I haven't broken 2B...
Our server is going to try to do a top 10 event with everyone that has monarch wing's sitting out. Hopefully we'll get a throne truce agreement and help out our server with a bunch of new baby dragons. This idea has been done on other server before. We've been asked to do it but it wasn't a top 10 event. So hopefully it will happen and help both servers
I was blocked by a p2p member of my server when i was top 4, he followed me around hitting targets before i could. Another server member fed him cords so he could block me.

I just got mine after coming close a good few times. k31. i like to play small so i put my cavs in the hospital before svs and all i have left is my pvp march. t12 and t11 archers plus layers using elektra and a decent dragon. it is much easier when you only have to ghost one march and you really cant lose too heavily even if you get caught. you wont give away many points if your cavs are already in the hospital. i was trying to work on my defence but it was making it too difficult to escape having to ghost so many troops so i just didnt revive them after svs a few months back. make sure to research light of server war in the academy too. you should start to prepare for svs as soon as the last svs ends. focus spending any spare gems on buying sol every day. all i do is hit keeps during svs so its a lot of patience and watching for bubble drops
If player see you that you get wings even in small power they will respect you so much .. because they know you are great player in small account.. when I get wings in 380 I'm only keep 27 with no dragon because I don't have. Money to buy it 😅😅😅😅take note that's my first year of player .. I only do was wait the enimy game in my server ... Then the big player in my server push me so that the other player big on me see that it's not all about power but it's all about ability... And also positive wings is more proud than to get negative wings .. bless pm , redtractor, they keep push me to go .. I don't sleep almost one day in that wings
What about the servers where the big players attack smaller participating player? That used to happen on my old server, whenever I was participating and my scores were on the board, I would get zeroed by a big player from my own server, when I asked them why they zeroed me when I was participating and had a good score, they said tough, you should have been quicker, but how can I do anything if I'm being attacked while I have a march out? It was so annoying
I got wings being k31 witn 120m power, while big dogs on my server was k35 and 2-3b about 3 people, k34 with 1b about 5 people and k33 with 500m about 10 people. So I was top 100 for power at my server. But I say, perfect time is ultimate war when top 10 gets it. Its also we trying to help at least 1 new guy to get it every almost won or lost svs, when pointing positive or negative doen't matter, but they need to get minimum over 540m to let runner-ups to get all chests. Our server is 1131, I started it august 2022 and now we have 25 people with white wings and 22 of them with yellow ones. And I always push my teammates to start scoring at SvS. Yes fear is real! I’m K34, monarch 34, over 900m in power. 26m troops! And I haven’t participated in SVS out of fear! I think I need to be bigger! Hopefully watching and learning from ur videos I can get the courage! 😂
Its a different game now from when you got wings. Not a fair comparison tbh. The only thing i suggest which worked for me are research and buffs. Have just 2 strong marches. 1 ground and 1 ranged. Ground is the new ranged. Practice quick ghosting in Battlefields. Choose targets wisely - identify the people in the enemy server who are desperate for their wings. You shall be through. Buffs vis a vis keep level remain the single most important factor. Research and refine.
In my experience, power is not a hindrance to gaining wings. I got my wings in the old 1169 server, and my power was less than 140m. March power was about 50m. I got the wings and was third Withe over 1b points just a small tip if you are in old server don’t focus o. training troos Just focus on your buff ther is enough players to kill Bosses no need for more troops and as Aka said ask the other player to stop fighting. I did not have power but i had buff my buff was over 1050% for ranged troops attack
@@ReneesSignature unless all 5 are doing that you also have to expect that as those who can compete for 1st get a castle, also you can use one of them to carry you to wings also. I know we are currently gate keeping on our server because we have a 6 month wait and people in other alliances feel they deserve wings before our alliance who are currently of the 14 person wait 13 of them
The bigs in server 830 are preventing people from getting them I had over 1b points and I had a big (3.8b) go and zero him self in the last 20 minutes and bumped me out of top 5. I just recently got k35 and 1b power. I've been putting in the time thus big just does not like me and wasted all time, rss and effort for him to just go get 2 tapped and pass me and just heal all his troops .
That guy was K33 with that power what was his troops all T13 .. that’s when I think is a really good time to go for wings a lot of players don’t have T13’s
aKa - I have a max of 45 M power mounted troops attack (K30) - not able to defend any attacks gets zeroed all the time, what do you think -will this me my cup of tea?
The bigs on my server won't allow others to try for svs wings. I had a fellow teammate try, and they burned all of our unbubbled cities during NAP after that SVS to teach us a lesson because he got negative points....Some people are just cruel.
Another reason that is not mentioned here is in some servers there are serious inner wars going on for months. When a player realizes every SvS weekend some nice players who are fighting to get their wings are again attacked by some same server winged guys deliberately, not mistakenly, he/she mostly quit trying again. I mean if you get zeroed by an enemy server player, at least you may have some points if you are well prepared and lucky. But if you're zeroed by your own server, no points.
Aka for me, now I have 800M and am K34 but this can be zeroed by a k41 because I once tried to defend our temple when a k41 hit me and zeroed me, though I recovered all my troops but that gave me an insight that am not ready, with much troops and big players I find it risky, what do you advise because I need wings
I think I can handle 1,2, 4, and 5. It's 3 that's the issue on my server. My server alliances are like the founders at Hogwarts, most live quite harmoniously, one however does not. They have several of the biggest keeps and one of them is the biggest on the server by several billion power. They don't think the rules apply to them. We have kind of a council on our server that sets certain rules, but the server king does have discretion. Last week our server lost SVS. Usually this means that the next weekend we have KE. This past week. The current king (not a member of the rogue alliance) declared there would be no KE this weekend (server wide NAP), It was completely ignored by that one alliance which meant everyone else had to bubble or burn. That alliance simply doesn't care that behavior like this hurts our server's chances in upcoming SVS battles. This alliance has also repeatedly zeroed players from other alliances that were close to getting their wings. Asking them to lay off and let someone win wings is a huge long shot. I haven't tried to win them yet, but when I do it will be an uphill battle to get around these bullies.
Agree with Aka, taking temples would only get the attention of the entire enemy's server and you won't get much points either. Killing troops is more effective, but be careful to not get caught or fall for a trap.
Aka, I watched your videos. Went over to the other side. Got lucky. Ghosted and took over their temple for ten straight minutes, then got hit and sent back. Zeroed as soon as I got back; then zeroed again. I’m at 31 million and change at 14th place. 5th place is 127 million. Any advice for getting my wings this weekend? I don’t mind getting zeroed since we are losing anyway. I just don’t want to lose too much for my server.
You need to be active and try to get more points. See if you can find any targets. Ask your alliance mates if they can help you out as well If you are going to get zeroed again, try to make sure it’s not by someone much stronger than you. Even if you get zeroed, you need all the points you can get 😇 Happy Hunting 💪💪
Hi Akka I have Keep level 28, my total power is 15M, is it possible to get a good svs rank with this if say ypur city is a total mess e.i your troop levels dont match the buildings or all buildings are unevenly levelled?
On my server there is always the same top 3....and the remaining 2 must be of thier alliances......they might attack you to not prevent you of getting in top 5
Also what was the negative you let the positive but what was your negative net... On some servers mine included if you have a horrible negative net. Then you must prove that you can get top five without splatting
I was positive. Don’t have screenshots of that so can’t prove it. But my server was the same at the time : no throne for negative players. It’s not the same now though

In 677 my account was keep 26 power 10 m I was top 5 that's why that server respect me even I don't play anymore in that server . And the first alliance never kick out m. even I don't play anymore 🤣🤣🤣
I got my wings 3 SvS ago, it was a hard slog to try and get there I was k33 200mil power, I scored 840mill points with juts 300mil negatives, I also never got hit once 😅. I placed 4th. Our big players always go hard every SvS 🤭
I'm k37 2.5b power and 31.5m research but no wings. The big players take SvS very seriously and getting zeroed results in major criticism in WC, I don't even try now...thinking about changing servers, they can't all be do negative can they??
It’s like a lottery - there are some good ones and some bad ones. Apparently, more bad than good 😅 And unfortunately, there are likely worse servers than the one you are on right now. But if you really can’t stand where you are now, and you don’t mind starting over again, then it’s worth giving it a try. Don’t get rid of your current account yet. Start first on a new server and take a few days to see if you like it there. Make sure to bubble your old keep. When you are convinced that the new place is better, you can close up or give away your old account. I think that’s a safer approach 😇
best time to get wings, for F2P and LC players is during all star season, especially the last week when all the bigs/ whales are hoarding healing speeds and march speeds and don't want to use them for PvP during SvS.
These are exactly all reasons why I still have no wings😂 k35 460m power. But I fairly have to say that I’m not the PvP player. I have not always the time to sit in battlefield to practice or stay awake until svs starts. It’s 2 am for me. Yeah, we had a similar issue on my server. Just need to coordinate with your alliance, at least. Most times, other alliance will do what they want, but if your alliance is working well together, then the chance will come 🤞😇
So let's be real. Today with t1 walls it i nearly impossible to find targets. I am absolutely willing to listen and learn if someone can privide anmetgod for finding realistic targets. Looking forward to sincere responses.

You know what, I actually find that kind of hilarious 🤣 You should make him spend more rss, speedups, SOL and money trying to block you 🤣🤣 But on a serious note though, don’t let guys like that stop you from trying. You will keep gaining more experience, you’ll pick up rewards along the way, and you will get your wings eventually 😊💪
All well and good but we have players on our server that in order to break into the top 5 during SVS you need to get at least 3 Billion points. Our leaderboard number 1 just got 9 billion points this SVS, is a K40 and has 200 million troops. There’s no way a K27 is making 3 Billion points during SVS.
Yeah I know what you mean. Top 5 is usually 2 plus billion points on my server. My allliances k44 scored 1 billion points on a single attack against a k42 who unbubbled to attack me. I actually got my wings this weekend but it was a low scoring SVS so I only needed 680 million points for fifth. The other server went up early and they just refused to play. I’m just glad it’s done now so I never have to do it again 😂
Getting the red wings is the biggest problem. I'm k39 and 5 bill power and I still can't come close. To many rich people playing this game. And then they also took advantage of cheap packs and troop training glitches
I hope that situation can be resolved soon 🤞 We had similar issues on my server. With time, and a lot if people complaining 😅, the situation improved...a bit. Big players still play, but for a lot of SvSs, we get at least 1 new player that gets wings
@@alvianrio838 I have got 6th and 7th position in last 2 SVS, we have few dumb rich players on my server who like to get hit and get tons of negative points but still they are always in top 5 and on other hand I never had negative points but still. 🤷🏻
@@RedEvony thank you Aka your videos helping me a lot to improve my game but I’m really so disappointed with Evony developers because they are not fair in terms of assigning SVS ranks, players who have tons on tons negative points are getting top 5 ranks and players like me who always have positive points are not getting what they deserve. I sent mails and msgs to Evony customer support but they never replied.
The tyrannical alliance VND, on server 592, made the rule that if anyone, that is not in their alliance and has a negative score will be kos until next svs.
Very insightful video aka. I was k30 when I tried for wings and I didn't get it till I got to k31 on a server that's already more than a year old. I tried 5 times before I got it and I got zerod all five times 😅 but I the 5th I was already at 5th with 620m positive and 200m negative I didn't have the sol or rss to heal and my alliance leader spoke to everyone on the server to stop all attacks and they listened. Everyone above me kept attacking but everyone below me stopped. I didn't know this happened I woke up the next morning after svs and saw I got my wings it was a really touching moment for me because there were two of us in my alliance that were trying for wings he was 6th and he stepped down for me
For those FTPers or very light coiners like me, the best time to get wings is when the svs has a horrible one-sided unfair matchup. The power players tend to lose their interest and most players will be more carefree because they think the result has been decided. If you're on the underdog side, play a sniper role....warrant and hit those careless players. If you're on the winning side, go to the enemy server and occupy Temple. The resistance is usually very low.

Am a ftp and got my wings with positive net score when we lost the war, big players lost a lot and tended to turn conservatives, yet the opponents become careless and I was lucky to catch some good targets
In other words, small players having higher chance to get their wings when the matchup is unfair
We have seen this on our older server as well. Also, bugs are more willing to tolerate negative scores when we are overmatched and losing. When scores are closer, they can start blaming & punishing players who lose a lot of points. The time to take risks is when it doesn’t hurt the server overall.

when i first played svs, i was horrible and got my wings the wrong way. i was hated and ridiculed for it, but i worked really hard on my buffs/debuffs and after 1.5 years, i am just getting back in the game and i am doing very well so far. thank you for all your pvp tutorials! you made a big difference!

It’s mostly fear that prevents people from obtaining wings. Or lack of understanding how the fighting actually works and how to read scouts. It’s also way better to get them when you’re smaller as the risk of being wiped out is much easier to recover from. Fear only grows with the account size if you haven’t gotten them yet.
No, but there are definitely times when everything is against you, one can be fearless and try to gain the wings, but if the server is full of people who can never have enough and despise weak players, there is nothing left to do.

I can relate to that; as a (very weak, and I know it) K37 who's powerful on paper but poorat PvP in practice the thought of having to rebuild fills me with dread!
I always seem to have more troops than I can ghost (a lot more), and I'm the biggest player in my alliance at 900m power (k35) so I have no support. I always just find it too risky. Our server HATES people who get negative points, and often declares them KOS. They claim they don't mind negative points if you're trying to fight and only hate bubble drops, but really they just hate anyone who goes negative. That's the real fear.
Following from my previous comment I must thank my Server wholeheartedly for getting together and all (but one... there's always one 🙄) of the players with Wings agreed to totally sit out one SvS and just provide targeting information to players without. We hoped the opposing server would agree to do the same for a fairer fight, but sadly it wasn't to be because they were Bubble or Burn and cooperating on practically anything 'for the Server' was anathma to them... because of this we lost badly, though we did manage a Throne Truce so no Turtles, but in exchange gained 4 new Winged players who can help more fully in future SvS conflicts and who, along with others who tried for the first time but didn't quite make Top 5, got a great learning experience... I was lucky enough to get Wings and I learned *SO MUCH* though all my horrble mistakes I'm now not only more powerful, I also have more confidence (I know if I don't have to panic and fall apart stupidly because I know I'm strong enough to survive a paired K40 Rally, which I would never have believed until it happened, and escape... plus of course never having been in SvS before I had so many SoL to recover losses I could cope with the losses that *did* occur) and know what stupid errors to avoid in future; sadly the way I always seem to learn! 🤣
Even better, for all the new Wing bearers the Server agreed to let them take turns in sitting on the Throne for a fortnight which as well as allowing *Wonder 2* to be opened by each of them, for even more gains in capability, was a good experience in communicating with other Servers before SvS to discuss possible Throne Truces, if agreed and understanding the 'stresses' of being King/Queen when being arbiter on internal disagreements.
All in all a superb experience... and your advice on preparation really helped; now I've gone from K37 then to K39 now and am starting to look at your Siege tutorials!
I got my wings a couple of months ago after a few attempts. There are definitely many factors involved, like you mentioned. Having a strong alliance was key for me. The enemy server match up can be a wild card, depending on how aggressive they are or how good/bad their bubble discipline is. I got most of my points from defense, reinforcing team mates whose bubbles dropped and cross-reinforcing during rallies. We had a very persistent player from the enemy server who kept coming over to start stuff, which helped a lot. I only went to enemy server one time towards the end to make sure I kept top 5, and was positive on points up to that point, but my team mates had already conquered the enemy throne, so the negative points didn't matter then. Anyway, it was a mix of luck, being in the right place at the right time, and strong teamwork!
A strategy that ensures lightweight coin gets wing is T1cav defense.
Flat buffs on attack and HP to expand the army over T1cav 100 million and boost the archer debuff.
With effective defense until the end in the future.
If there is a player who can send strong siege reinforcements, vulnerability becomes infinitely lower.
Yeah, T1s definitely help.
The only problem is that it takes time to set up properly, and they have to hit you. You can’t do much attacking with T1s 😅

It took me almost a year and a half as I am free to play player. I learned some very key things.
1- Skip 1-2 SVS and save teleports and SOL
2- Make on strong PVP march and enough t1 to fill your hospital
3- Be prepared to play hours and hours looking for targets
4- Ask others to help you scout targets
5- learn to ghost
6- people dont like you messing with their temples, great place to get people to come attack you

I always have a lot more troops than I can ghost. I'm currently K35 at 920m power and in an small alliance that can offer no support in reinforcements. The real fear is going negative and being hated by the bigs on my server who really just despise anyone who goes negative, often declaring them KOS if they go negative a few times.

In my server you have to get above 1b score to guarantee the top 5. In some svs it might not be enough. I'd say in servers like a year old or more, if you are a small player you should be at least k33 and did your gears and refines on a march. But getting a billion points hurts too much on source of life. So light of server war researchs should be maxed to increase total troop power revived by a single sol. Last light of server war research unlocks at k35. I wouldn't try too hard and stall my progress in order to get wings in a less likely situation. Of course opponent server also change the outcome. If the enemy server isn't active, some lucky hits might place you at top5. Hoard source of lifes and don't waste them. Having a defense will also help because it is not easy to find keeps to attack during svs. Not necessary though.

I got my wings a couple of months ago at K33 with 250m power. I got 0ed twice during that, but i kept pushing as Aka said! my server is over 2 years old but with good perseverance, 4th & 5th place are almost always within reach. You should also mention point 6, LUCK plays a big part in this! :)

It really depends on the server.
On my server, when someone who isn't in the clique of 5 big coiners scores negative in SvS - they hunt such person in tiles and burn the AC of their alliance.
Overall - before we got merged with another server, we have had only a handful of people with wings on our server, as those same 5 accounts keep rotating in the top 5 places. When someone is trying to make a push and message them - they would deliberately take a hit to score additional millin points, only to push that person out from the top5. Once they did it even to their own alliance member, who has stretched as thin as possible to score high and recover with limited SoLs she had.
Yes; Aka's advice is solid as usual but he does seem to play on a server(s) where he really hasn't met any peope like this which waaaay too many people (including me) unfortunately have.
My server does try to help smaller people get wings sometimes but they also hate people who go negative say 3 or 4 times, especially if you are the reason to lose the war. They'll make you KOS and that's the main reason I don't try in SVS... I'm too fat to ghost all my troops at K35 / 900m power and a small alliance with no support = probably frequent negative points.
The bigs in my server as far as i remember try not to participate to let people get wings unless necessary for them to keep our throne they'll rally.

Every time I tried to get wings, big players would show up and push me out of the top 5. On my third attempt I spoke to some of them and said check me out, I'm 5th, I may not get this chance again, please chill and I'll send you stamina, rss or whatever you need as a thank you. However, there was one player on the enemy server who always pushed me to 6th place whenever I got into top 5. It was infuriating because it was clearly being done on purpose and this player pretty much admitted it. I did not know why this player had a problem with me until I dug through my old reports and saw I stole their sub city 2 years ago 🤦♂. Anyway, with the help of my alliance frantically finding targets until the final seconds of SVS I was able to secure my wings in spite of that deliberate sabotage.
I wish everyone luck because if you don't do it in the first few months in the server, it becomes very difficult to do it later when the top 8 bigs are scoring billion plus points.

This is another well done and most timely video for me (as well as the next one).
My most serious problem is time: I work long hard hours every weekend and making the time and finding the energy is challenging.
I can not go greatly negative due to not having 3 full marches. In battlefield I have developed an appreciation for being effective with one, maybe two marches. I typically ghost most of my troops and keep them in reserve to replenish my main attack march.
I will find the time and energy.
As additional motivation i have had players leave the alliance to 'Get their wings' and none have yet achieved their goal. It would be great if I got mine before any of them get theirs.

I got mine in maybe an hour of active playtime. I've got kids with special needs, can't sit around and play for hours on end. I built a fortress and simply went over, attacked an unbubbled castle very likely to be empty and was just slow to port. Got hit a few times and that was basically it. Even had a positive score in the end. I was K33 and had maybe 300 million power

Great video Aka. All I can say is that the longer you leave it the harder it gets. It took me about a year and a half to get them. I was a K33 and finished 2nd with about 300m points. But once you get them, it gets easier - you seem to lose that fear factor and gain confidence from it. Just keep plugging away and anyone can get it. Only thing not to do is suicide wings - it just looks bad and can annoy many players trying to get them

I am one of those patient (LOW COINERS) guys that waited until i built an insane army with premium subgens all decked in Achae Gear, but quickly realized i went a little crazy on my troops & had to go up to k35 from k33 so i could ghost correctly. oh well, we all make mistakes right? lol. @ this point i have a rare account (almost k36) that can fully debuff most keeps @ my size. sooooo, which should be my main focus during server war, understanding most temples are a suckers game, lol.

the negatives on my server counts as only the net positive ones in total of all svs´s are allowed to get throne. We keep track with an excel sheet, the person highest in net points on that sheet is getting throne next for 2 weeks. If someone gets high negatives they get slandered in WC. the result: barely anyone is participating in svs or trying for wings. If you put up massive negatives, youll have to get out of that negative hole too to get throne rotation.
Sounds like a lot of work for a mobile game. Low participation in SvS due to fear of being shamed for a mistake will result in a fast dieing server

The last svs they burned down an AC for a week because a k37 accidentally had a lot more negatives than positives. No one works together anymore and no one participates. We kept losing SvS and everyone was wondering why and blaming it on small players that were dropping bubble. We ended up scrapping the spreadsheet when we found out that it was actually the big players that were losing too many points! They didn’t like the spreadsheet after that 🤣🤣
Oh damn, that sucks. I know a lot of players are very conscious of negative points, including me. However, for me personally, it would depend, if the player already has wings, they should hold back and let others try to get their wings, and getting negative points shouldn't be an issue, unless the player is notorious for having negative points, like every svs, this player gets more negative points. In my server we have a couple of those, one was consistently top 1 for negative points, but recently, he stopped participating in svs, maybe someone advised him, but we still have another big player, that still gets more negative points, I wonder if he'd stop this time, they don't need to get top 5 anyway, they already had their wonder 1 and 2.

It's the bigs for me. There was a time when every 5 SVS they would step out to allow for new wings, but then blood of ares came into the equation and that was that. Today, many are saying to not even attempt until everything in the normal acadamy is completely researched.
Also still working on the debuffs. Only have 3 sub gens completely set.
Edit: I also heard people say in videos that 8 Billion is now considered weak. Considering I haven't broken 2B...

We have had numerous small players that have got wings, even tho we are 10 or 15 svs in.
Literally under 100m power players.
They are savages.
Our server is going to try to do a top 10 event with everyone that has monarch wing's sitting out. Hopefully we'll get a throne truce agreement and help out our server with a bunch of new baby dragons.
This idea has been done on other server before. We've been asked to do it but it wasn't a top 10 event. So hopefully it will happen and help both servers

I just got mine after coming close a good few times. k31. i like to play small so i put my cavs in the hospital before svs and all i have left is my pvp march. t12 and t11 archers plus layers using elektra and a decent dragon. it is much easier when you only have to ghost one march and you really cant lose too heavily even if you get caught. you wont give away many points if your cavs are already in the hospital. i was trying to work on my defence but it was making it too difficult to escape having to ghost so many troops so i just didnt revive them after svs a few months back. make sure to research light of server war in the academy too. you should start to prepare for svs as soon as the last svs ends. focus spending any spare gems on buying sol every day. all i do is hit keeps during svs so its a lot of patience and watching for bubble drops
If player see you that you get wings even in small power they will respect you so much .. because they know you are great player in small account.. when I get wings in 380 I'm only keep 27 with no dragon because I don't have. Money to buy it 😅😅😅😅take note that's my first year of player .. I only do was wait the enimy game in my server ... Then the big player in my server push me so that the other player big on me see that it's not all about power but it's all about ability... And also positive wings is more proud than to get negative wings .. bless pm , redtractor, they keep push me to go .. I don't sleep almost one day in that wings
What about the servers where the big players attack smaller participating player? That used to happen on my old server, whenever I was participating and my scores were on the board, I would get zeroed by a big player from my own server, when I asked them why they zeroed me when I was participating and had a good score, they said tough, you should have been quicker, but how can I do anything if I'm being attacked while I have a march out? It was so annoying

I got wings being k31 witn 120m power, while big dogs on my server was k35 and 2-3b about 3 people, k34 with 1b about 5 people and k33 with 500m about 10 people. So I was top 100 for power at my server. But I say, perfect time is ultimate war when top 10 gets it. Its also we trying to help at least 1 new guy to get it every almost won or lost svs, when pointing positive or negative doen't matter, but they need to get minimum over 540m to let runner-ups to get all chests. Our server is 1131, I started it august 2022 and now we have 25 people with white wings and 22 of them with yellow ones.
And I always push my teammates to start scoring at SvS.
Also all chest for scoring are decent even no wings.

Its a different game now from when you got wings. Not a fair comparison tbh. The only thing i suggest which worked for me are research and buffs. Have just 2 strong marches. 1 ground and 1 ranged. Ground is the new ranged. Practice quick ghosting in Battlefields. Choose targets wisely - identify the people in the enemy server who are desperate for their wings. You shall be through. Buffs vis a vis keep level remain the single most important factor. Research and refine.
Yeah, it is certainly tougher the older your server gets. Coiners keep getting bigger and targets are harder to find

In my experience, power is not a hindrance to gaining wings. I got my wings in the old 1169 server, and my power was less than 140m. March power was about 50m. I got the wings and was third Withe over 1b points just a small tip if you are in old server don’t focus o. training troos Just focus on your buff ther is enough players to kill Bosses no need for more troops and as Aka said ask the other player to stop fighting.

The bigs in server 830 are preventing people from getting them I had over 1b points and I had a big (3.8b) go and zero him self in the last 20 minutes and bumped me out of top 5. I just recently got k35 and 1b power. I've been putting in the time thus big just does not like me and wasted all time, rss and effort for him to just go get 2 tapped and pass me and just heal all his troops .
That guy was K33 with that power what was his troops all T13 .. that’s when I think is a really good time to go for wings a lot of players don’t have T13’s

The bigs on my server won't allow others to try for svs wings. I had a fellow teammate try, and they burned all of our unbubbled cities during NAP after that SVS to teach us a lesson because he got negative points....Some people are just cruel.

Another reason that is not mentioned here is in some servers there are serious inner wars going on for months. When a player realizes every SvS weekend some nice players who are fighting to get their wings are again attacked by some same server winged guys deliberately, not mistakenly, he/she mostly quit trying again. I mean if you get zeroed by an enemy server player, at least you may have some points if you are well prepared and lucky. But if you're zeroed by your own server, no points.
Aka for me, now I have 800M and am K34 but this can be zeroed by a k41 because I once tried to defend our temple when a k41 hit me and zeroed me, though I recovered all my troops but that gave me an insight that am not ready, with much troops and big players I find it risky, what do you advise because I need wings
I think I can handle 1,2, 4, and 5. It's 3 that's the issue on my server. My server alliances are like the founders at Hogwarts, most live quite harmoniously, one however does not. They have several of the biggest keeps and one of them is the biggest on the server by several billion power. They don't think the rules apply to them. We have kind of a council on our server that sets certain rules, but the server king does have discretion. Last week our server lost SVS. Usually this means that the next weekend we have KE. This past week. The current king (not a member of the rogue alliance) declared there would be no KE this weekend (server wide NAP), It was completely ignored by that one alliance which meant everyone else had to bubble or burn. That alliance simply doesn't care that behavior like this hurts our server's chances in upcoming SVS battles. This alliance has also repeatedly zeroed players from other alliances that were close to getting their wings. Asking them to lay off and let someone win wings is a huge long shot. I haven't tried to win them yet, but when I do it will be an uphill battle to get around these bullies.

Agree with Aka, taking temples would only get the attention of the entire enemy's server and you won't get much points either. Killing troops is more effective, but be careful to not get caught or fall for a trap.

Aka, I watched your videos. Went over to the other side. Got lucky. Ghosted and took over their temple for ten straight minutes, then got hit and sent back. Zeroed as soon as I got back; then zeroed again. I’m at 31 million and change at 14th place. 5th place is 127 million. Any advice for getting my wings this weekend? I don’t mind getting zeroed since we are losing anyway. I just don’t want to lose too much for my server.
You need to be active and try to get more points. See if you can find any targets. Ask your alliance mates if they can help you out as well
If you are going to get zeroed again, try to make sure it’s not by someone much stronger than you. Even if you get zeroed, you need all the points you can get 😇

Hi Akka I have Keep level 28, my total power is 15M, is it possible to get a good svs rank with this if say ypur city is a total mess e.i your troop levels dont match the buildings or all buildings are unevenly levelled?
On my server there is always the same top 3....and the remaining 2 must be of thier alliances......they might attack you to not prevent you of getting in top 5
I am a k30 and I have 60M power but still it looks like I can't get wings because there are many people with 1B power or more than 100M power
Also what was the negative you let the positive but what was your negative net... On some servers mine included if you have a horrible negative net. Then you must prove that you can get top five without splatting
I was positive. Don’t have screenshots of that so can’t prove it. But my server was the same at the time : no throne for negative players.

In 677 my account was keep 26 power 10 m I was top 5 that's why that server respect me even I don't play anymore in that server . And the first alliance never kick out m. even I don't play anymore 🤣🤣🤣
I got my wings 3 SvS ago, it was a hard slog to try and get there I was k33 200mil power, I scored 840mill points with juts 300mil negatives, I also never got hit once 😅. I placed 4th. Our big players always go hard every SvS 🤭
I'm k37 2.5b power and 31.5m research but no wings. The big players take SvS very seriously and getting zeroed results in major criticism in WC, I don't even try now...thinking about changing servers, they can't all be do negative can they??
It’s like a lottery - there are some good ones and some bad ones. Apparently, more bad than good 😅
And unfortunately, there are likely worse servers than the one you are on right now.
But if you really can’t stand where you are now, and you don’t mind starting over again, then it’s worth giving it a try.
Don’t get rid of your current account yet. Start first on a new server and take a few days to see if you like it there. Make sure to bubble your old keep. When you are convinced that the new place is better, you can close up or give away your old account.
I think that’s a safer approach 😇

best time to get wings, for F2P and LC players is during all star season, especially the last week when all the bigs/ whales are hoarding healing speeds and march speeds and don't want to use them for PvP during SvS.
Im just to scared to lose troops cause to build back up you got to spend money 🥺
I know what prevents me from getting wings--I don't PvP. I spend every server war hiding under my bubble and chasing fairies.

These are exactly all reasons why I still have no wings😂 k35 460m power. But I fairly have to say that I’m not the PvP player. I have not always the time to sit in battlefield to practice or stay awake until svs starts. It’s 2 am for me. Yeah, we had a similar issue on my server. Just need to coordinate with your alliance, at least.
Most times, other alliance will do what they want, but if your alliance is working well together, then the chance will come 🤞😇
I got wings at 200m K33 on a very competitive server with 1.3b scored (900m positive). It's not as hard as people claim.
So let's be real. Today with t1 walls it i nearly impossible to find targets. I am absolutely willing to listen and learn if someone can privide anmetgod for finding realistic targets. Looking forward to sincere responses.

It's hard to get wings. Big players getting big points because of rewards and because most people are bubbled for 3 days too.
The bigs in server 830 are preventing people from getting them I had over 1b points and I had a big (3.8b) go and zero him self in the last 20 minutes and bumped me out of top 5. I just recently got k35 and 1b power. I've been putting in the time thus big just does not like me and wasted all time, rss and effort for him to just go get 2 tapped and pass me and just heal all his troops.
You know what, I actually find that kind of hilarious 🤣
You should make him spend more rss, speedups, SOL and money trying to block you 🤣🤣
But on a serious note though, don’t let guys like that stop you from trying. You will keep gaining more experience, you’ll pick up rewards along the way, and you will get your wings eventually 😊💪

All well and good but we have players on our server that in order to break into the top 5 during SVS you need to get at least 3 Billion points. Our leaderboard number 1 just got 9 billion points this SVS, is a K40 and has 200 million troops. There’s no way a K27 is making 3 Billion points during SVS.
Yeah I know what you mean. Top 5 is usually 2 plus billion points on my server. My allliances k44 scored 1 billion points on a single attack against a k42 who unbubbled to attack me. I actually got my wings this weekend but it was a low scoring SVS so I only needed 680 million points for fifth. The other server went up early and they just refused to play. I’m just glad it’s done now so I never have to do it again 😂

My server destroys many of smaller (mid) size players just for the hell of it while under NAP rules. Only their alliance gets wings
Getting the red wings is the biggest problem. I'm k39 and 5 bill power and I still can't come close. To many rich people playing this game. And then they also took advantage of cheap packs and troop training glitches
I’m trying to get my wings from long time but every SVS all big players take top 5 positions. 1167
true, same here.. even i've scored aboou 500M, but those all big player have 1-2B score. Lol.

We had similar issues on my server. With time, and a lot if people complaining 😅, the situation improved...a bit. Big players still play, but for a lot of SvSs, we get at least 1 new player that gets wings
@@alvianrio838 I have got 6th and 7th position in last 2 SVS, we have few dumb rich players on my server who like to get hit and get tons of negative points but still they are always in top 5 and on other hand I never had negative points but still. 🤷🏻
@@RedEvony thank you Aka your videos helping me a lot to improve my game but I’m really so disappointed with Evony developers because they are not fair in terms of assigning SVS ranks, players who have tons on tons negative points are getting top 5 ranks and players like me who always have positive points are not getting what they deserve. I sent mails and msgs to Evony customer support but they never replied.

The tyrannical alliance VND, on server 592, made the rule that if anyone, that is not in their alliance and has a negative score will be kos until next svs.
I'm on 395 - we're fighting 592 this weekend. We don't do anything like that
