Keep resisting! My take on this is that the Toddfather has labeled the most wanted figure Sold-Out forcing the crowd to buy the bundle with the even sh:ttier rest of the bunch! But on the other hand he would have had thrown the Anne Hathaway Catwoman exclusive in a bundle and would have made the most wanted one (with ears) a platinum chase variant,...wait a moment,...ohh!
Is this the $40 wave? Easy pass. I love the Spectre, but this would be great glow in the dark figure if this is premium figure. And I will not play the exclusive game. They are controlling the limited supplies. And buying directly from the maker, they eliminate the middle person; so, 100% profit. Why would I support these conditions?

Words of wisdom an dignity! My love for McFarlane has significantly dropped after this BAF-Lone price hike, selling lazy prototypesk figures for almost double. If Todd would produce quality figures like back in the days (but sadly he is producing more and more cheap, like with Steel too, so that even Mattel can surpass him giving MOTU Origins Rokkon a shiny metal finish that Todd has economized on Steel), they would sell forever because of the quality (and they are timeless too), so the only logical answer for the shortage on purpose can only be that the Toddfather is unofficially very active in the scalper-market himself, no other answer makes sense! So lookout for a "Mac Fartoddlane" (Wink-Smiley) at the scalper-market who is selling the Anne Hathaway Catwoman or the new blue Azbat everybody wants for double, triple, quadruple the price: Brave New (extremely expensive if you can't resist) Todd(Scalper)Father World!

So, I'm not complaining. But as a consumer, I also have a right to vote with my money to say enough is enough; I'm not going to play his game or finance his ventures.
The Spectre would fit nicely with the Golden Age Flash and Green Lantern. Maybe we'll see more Justice Society figures in the future.
