Sooo this was quite a long one! What's your favourite camera bag?

For the zipper security, stick one end of the plastic loop through first and then pull the rest through. My pgytech sling has the same feature.

Great review, thanks! Had the original but the camera access was on the wrong side and no top access was a deal breaker. Deciding between this and the Shimoda Explorer v2. Amazing choices we have now! This bag (x2) is certainly the best band for the Buck...er Pound :D.

I do love how many accessories they include with the bag and still keeping the whole package at a very competitive price. IE, PM Nomadic bag is $300+ (close to $400) with the cube configurators. I am very interested in this bag as I have the PD V1 backpack (going on 8 yrs I think) and it has served me well, but I would like a bigger one for variety. Thanks for the great and honest review!

I’ve greatly enjoyed your videos! Do you think this makes a better “do it all” travel camera backpack than the Peter McKinnon?

My approach is slightly different: being a landscape photographer, I don't seek having ALL my gear with me at all times. So for me, the camera gear I generally take (filters included) fits in my Lowepro Pro Runner BP 350 AW II, which I have yet to come across a better bag. My drones are in its own dedicated cases which are a sling style, and are easily fit inside a trolley, and so I can take my whole gear with me to an airplane cabin.

Thank you brother for the video. I have a question what is the name of your tripod?

Can you use it as a carry-on in a plane? Thanks!

Hey Chris, really enjoyed your review of this bag. I actually ordered the Peter McKinnon 35L Travel Bag and the PGYTECH OneMo 2 35L. I'm comparing the two now and I'm having a hard time choosing. They're both great and excel in different areas. I am curious to know your thoughts between the two.

Yeah it’s so tough between those 2. I could fit more in the PGYTECH as it’s deeper so lenses can stand up. I think you also get a load more dividers and it’s more comfortable out of the box (think the PM one is meant to wear in a bit).
BUT I like the PM design more, the front pocket opens up without expanding so you can use it as a normal pocket, whereas you have to expand the pgytech front pocket to use it.
I concluded that the OneMo was the best for pure camera gear but for hybrid camera/travel with clothes etc with a couple cameras and lenses, I would have gone PM. Hope that helps!

@@ChrisSpice Thanks Chris, that does help!
Your thoughts are very similar to mine. I love the aesthetics of the PM bag more, and I do like that you can access the front compartment without having to unzip and expand the bag. I also really enjoy the hidden laptop compartment. It’s nice to be able to grab your laptop without having to open the main compartment. It also feels a little more rugged compared to the PGY. The straps do feel a little stiff and not nearly as comfortable as the PGY straps. I don’t think I’ve ever felt straps as comfortable as the PGY out of the box.
That said though, I feel like the PGY is very feature rich. They provide an extra bag, a ton of dividers, the security loops are brilliant, the amount of extra pockets and storage compartments are nice as well. I feel like overall the PGY excels in a lot of areas, but there is something inside of me that still wants that PM bag.
It may be just wanting to flex that I have it to be honest. 😅
Truthfully they both seam great but I think overall value wise you can’t beat the PGY bag. Truthfully, I feel like I would need to use them both long term to figure out which one I like best.

Thank you for the review. Wonder if a 17.3 inch laptop can fit in this backpack?

It can. The bag is 22 inches high. Macbook pro fits perfect

Hi. Thanks for the review. I just wanted to know if this bag is allowed as a carry-on for traveling?

I think I watched another review that said it can be used as a carry on when it’s compressed but not when expanded

Nice video! I wonder what camera bags can fit more gear… lowepro protactic 450 aw ii or this?

    • @ChrisSpice
      @ChrisSpice  ปีที่แล้ว +2

This fits a lot more as it’s slightly taller, wider and more square - it’s replaced my 450!

Ooohhh I see. It is more deeper on the camera compartment right?
