This moment right here is the moment where I stopped loving hp as a fantasy world and realized that it is a lot closer to real life than we all realize. This scene also caused me a lot of pain to see the hurt in hermione’s eyes when Harry snaps at her. You can just see how that comment hit her hard. The way Hermione seems so tough all the time, this scene caused me to think of something. Hermione’s parents are muggles and can’t perform magic, so when they discovered she has magic and is going to wizarding school. I believe that when she returned each summer, her parents tried to force her to do magic and that why she learned all those spells over the summer before her first year and this comment hit her so hard bc it caused flashbacks from her parents. I know this theory has flaws, but I see a lot of evidence of it throughout the books and movies. I’m not trying to make anyone believe this, I’m just sharing it.
That can't be true because Hermione would have the trace on her until she is seventeen not letting her do magic outside of Hogwarts and she would be expelled
I don’t know if it’s true or not it’s just something I’ve theorized also even on the train she said I’ve tried a few simple spells and they’ve all worked for me and I don’t think she could’ve done a few simple spells in that short train ride and mastered them.
Also, I have a bit more if you would like to continue reading to see it. If her parents were manipulating her into using magic to make their lives easier, she could’ve thought that the better she was and the more spells she learned would make people like her. This could’ve lead to her correcting Ron when they were learning the levitation charm and why she used a time turner to learn as much as possible during her third year. It could also be why she went straight to using obliviate on her parents rather than telling them it was too dangerous for them to stay there and they had to leave. I know she went a undid that charm, but is anyone certain that she didn’t only do that just bc the ministry could’ve threatened her if they discovers she had done that. I mean there is a lot of evidence I could tie to this, but I’m not really trying to convince anybody this is true, I’m only trying to show everyone why I believe this is true.
@@haleygehrke4104 she didn't, it was probably because she got spellbooks or something, or heard it somewhere else, then tried them. And I don't see any evidence whatsoever throughout the books. She was super smart too because she was practicing.
