I have been watching your videos for many years now. One of my kids told me I'm supposed to subscribe lol. I didn't know how to do that. My favorite thing over the years is you have kept the same attitude. It can be a river minnow or the donkey we all search for. You're just as excited with either one. You're outlook on life is contagious and don't' ever lose it. When you start getting sponsored please keep your same attitude Mark. I like to watch your videos if I need to settle down. If i was ever going to pick a guy to fish from a river bank... It would be you bud. Very smart and the attitude is even better. One of my favorite videos you ever made was doing cheese paste on your own. Take care my friend.
Well done, Mark. Some more lovely fish. One thing I will say is you have a good balance in your videos between sitting on the bank waiting and talking vs. landing the fish. There's also zero BS with rigs and tackle. I think sometimes people new to the sport watch all these 'professional' sponsored anglers catching fish after fish in an action-packed video, and it gives them a false expectation. Who knows how many give up after a few tough blanks? So I think your videos give a realistic perspective, and of course there's always the handsome reward at the end 👍🏻. I do cringe at TH-cam sometimes when I watch certain videos, but this is one of the accounts that keep it real.

Hi Mark, lovely video. I haven't been fishing this year due to the bad weather and illness, I thought to myself last week, blow it, i'm going fishing. 154 mile round trip to Throop. When I arrived, the main river Stour was a bit high. So I fished the Mill pool there. In the morning it was overcast, and I was hoping for a 2lb perch, as my pb was 1lb 11oz. And I did see a large Perch chasing fry, the year before. At midday, the sun was out, and after catching small perch, the float went under, and to my surprise I landed a 3lb on the nose Perch. I was over the moon. I know it's a long story, but the rules seemed to go out the window, midday and bright sunshine.
I haven't been able to get out since January, the sites I fish have been cut off by flood water (near the Severn), but at least I can come fishing with you in these videos and imagine I'm there doing a bit of virtual fishing... Thanks Mark
Excellent as always ..nice videos ,,lovely fish, And you always come across as top bloke .. You ignore the few negative comments ,,and carry On being your good self.🎣🎣

Brilliant video as usual, Mark. I could watch you fish all day. Sometimes I do & I always have a watch before my own trips. Two cracking Perch there, well done.
Another entertaing , educational video Mark. I purchased the Darent Valley quiver on your messaged recommendation last week and caught a nice couple of chub on its first outing as I mentioned to you on Insta . Your content is spot on and the locations . You keep it up please I think you`re a spot on chap.
Excellent result Mark, there's that perseverance showing again! We get lots of perch (introduced - they're called 'redfin' over here, but the same species), but generally they don't get to that sort of size as a rule.
Great video Mark, I enjoy watching you fish these intricate narrow river stretches and I'm impressed with the awesome Perch you've caught. I'd imagine the two you caught here were about a good 2lb or more? My PB Perch is only a pound exactly. Keep them coming 👍
Cracking video as always Mark and some superbly conditioned perch, well done! I’ve always loved watching your videos and listening to your commentary. With the river close season fast approaching my mate and I recently had three days up on the Trent but sadly no barbel were caught, just a solitary 5.1 lbs Chub. We are off to the Wye on Saturday for the last three days of the season. It’s going to be a lot milder and the levels are dropping so hoping for a barbus or two. Enjoy the close season Mark!
Another quality video, enjoy watching them and good to see you fishing and seeing someone enjoying what there doing and fishing for, keep them coming mate
Love the simple approach... late to the party, but loving the vids Mark... my own fishing is with Oooold gear and loving it... let's see more Chub Perch and big dog Roach...
