通勤中の車内で、信号待ちに技法の練習をしているのですが、技法に慣れていないと、カードを何度も落としてしまうので、水気に強いプラスティックトランプは重宝しています。
もちろん、紙のバイシクルでも練習しています。
今、空中リフルシャッフルやボトムショットを練習しているのですが、紙のトランプだと反りがついてしまうので、いいプラスティックトランプがないか探していました。
バイシクル・プラスティックトランプは、ざらざらしていますが、滑りもよく、1枚づつ綺麗に滑ります。ゴルスタより分厚いです が、遠慮なくプレッシャーをかけることが出来るので、映像を見ながら手遊び感覚で触っています。
ゴルスタと比べて、プレッシャーをかけ始めは柔らかいですが、徐々に抵抗が増してきて、最後は紙製より強い反り返しが感じられます。
手触りはとても気持ちいいです。
シャリシャリと音がなりますが、鳴らないようにパスする事も出来るし、カウントもフェローも普通に出来ます。
ただ、ファンは全く出来ないので、あくまで技法の練習と、マジックの手順確認用です。
あと、プラスティックトランプの独特の臭いが手に移ります（笑）
なるほどそうだったんですね！割り切って使ってる分には便利そうです＾＾
お上手ですね。私もよくこの技法は使います。

for turnover pass, when you say tilt the top packet to cover flash from the front, should the inner most corner remain in contact with the base of the thumb or should it be raised, kinda like tilt position, i love turnover pass but have a hard time with its angles and covering flashes, i generally do it on an offbeat?
Hmm...hard to say because the method changes depending on where they watch your pass.
if they watch from low front angle, you need to tilt the upper packet pretty much to give an extra cover for the bottom packet and if they watch from the same eye level as yours (in other words kinda 'high' front angle), you shouldn't tilt the upper one too much coz it exposes the bottom packet moving. (it flashes when seen from that height)
All you need to care is basically how much you tilt the upper packet to cover.
However if you take one step further and try to make it kinda invisible even from the side Low angle,
not only you need to tilt the upper packet forward, you also have to tilt the upper one sidewards( to the left). That way you make cover the bottom packet moving even when seen from that angle.
For this move you can refer to the second clip of the turnover pass in the performance in this video.
(go to 9:37 to see the move)
If you ever wanna make turnover pass 100% invisible, turn your body to the right. When the pass is done well in that angle it always invisible. This is one guaranteed method, though i think whether the pass is 100% invisible or not doesn't really matter. The thing is in most cases people catch the move not because magician's sleight flashes a little bit but because the move was sloppy and done out of context.
As long as the move 'feels natural', it's pretty good. It should fly by the spectators.
I believe you ARE aware of that fact and already perform with that mindset but just to accentuate the essence of sleight, my friend. Hope that advice helps
@@wade2351 thankyou for the lengthy reply, i always turn slightly to the side as recommended by yourself, alex pandrea and other authorities, i think that maybe the reflection in the mirror may not be what people actually see if this makes sense, for example i have asked countless people if they can see any flash when i perform the move and they all say no, yet in the mirror i can see it, im not sure if the mirror reflection is the same as what the spectator sees if this makes sense, someone said if you stand like a metre away from the mirror, the mirror would actually reflect like 2 metres if this makes any sense, kinda hard to explain
true that! mirror just shows you what can be seen only from your eye level. If you stand a meter away and looking into a mirror in 45 degrees , the mirror (when stood upright) just shows you what a man standing exactly at a meter away looking from 45 degrees having the same eye level. (same height of your body). That's why while practicing in front of a mirror is good, it's comes in handy if you shoot yourself in camera. That way you can see yourself from various angle, left angle, right angle, high angle, low angle, whatever. on top of that if you shoot without looking at the screen on the camera,
you'll be able to imagine what the camera sees set at that certain angle.
This imagination ability makes difference all the more if the sleight is angle-sensitive.

@@wade2351 thanks for your advice, ive showed a few guys at work tonight and they assure me than can see nothing, i think its when im a metre away from the mirror viewing the move, its not the same view the spectator is seeing, also, when i film myself on a phone, the phone is usually directly in front of me as opposed to where a spectators line of vision is, i was just watching your vid on the open prediction plot, there is no subs but i got the gist lol, there is a fantastic book i own, i believe it is called the open prediction project, one of my fave plots alongside acaans, check it out if you can get your hands on it, some fab ideas in there
yeah exactly! that's why even a magician who practiced a lot finds out he flashes a bit in real performance( though it's acceptable)

実際の手品の流れ的にどうしてもスプレッドからDPPにもっていきたくて練習してますが、ちょっとまごついちゃうんですよねぇぇ(-＿-)

スプレッドでのDPPは僕なりの方法があるのでまた紹介しますね。ちょっとフラリッシーな感じですけど
パスの真似を繰り返していたらだんだんwadeさんのムーブに似てきましたw
パーム系の技法が１番好きでしたが、パス系の技法の方が最近好きになってきました
パスはまだまだ荒らさが目立ちますが頑張ります👍

いいですね！最初はカクカクした動きで大まかな特徴を得て、だんだんカドを削って洗練していく。これが技法の練習の時意識する点です。

クラシックは永遠の課題です。。
The pass is so good, but at the side dude, there's a little bit of flash but it's good at speed unnoticeable if done at speed
The first pass I mean, the second is so good at the side angle

実はストラドルパスを１５枚くらいでやっているやつは過去にあげてます。
原案は一枚をパスするんですが、トライアンフの流れで十数枚をパスできるし仕様に改案してます。トライアンフ系で僕の動画探してみてください。

昔からカードマジックは凄いって思っていたけど、詳細解説聴くと更に凄いって思います。そういえばパスの技法に魅せられてチャンネル登録しました。死ぬまでに(現在60歳)できるようになります。生きる目標になるパステクニック(笑)

ダイバーノン氏も老境を迎えて手がしわしわになったときでもパスはしてました。20世紀最大のスライハンド使いが亡くなる前まで使ってたくらいですから一言では語れない技法ですね〜

2番目のパスは座った姿勢でのパスもやりやすくなりますね。フラッシュは永遠のテーマかと。
自然にできるようになるには軽いミスディレクションと度胸(w)が要るのですが、これが時間がかかるんですよねー。
あと、パスがうまくできるようになると、フォールスシャッフルが下手になるかもしれませんw （よくないコトですが）

なんの技法もそうですが、まずは技法単体を限界まで練習してから人前に出すようにしてます。緊張したりする原因の半分は、まだその技法に改善の余地があると自分でわかってて、それが心配事だからです。
