We are happy to present a vocal duet by Vidu Sindhu Suchethan and Vidu Smitha H M, Bengaluru.
Vidu Sindhu Suchethan and Vidu Smitha H M, the acclaimed violinist sisters are equally adept in vocal music. They received their training in violin and vocal music since a very young age, from Vid. H K Narasimhamurthy and Vidu H N Rajalakshmi, respectively. Later they were under the tutelage of Vidu Pushpa Srinivasan and Vid T K Srinivasan. Presently they are mentored by eminent violinist, Vid. H N Bhaskar.
Sindhu Suchethan and Smitha have performed in many of the prestigious sabhas and accompanied many top ranking artists of the present generation. Their accomplishment in violin has brought them the status of highly sought after accompanying artists. The rich experience has contributed immensely in shaping their versatility in violin as well as vocal music.
The sisters are ‘A’ graded artists of AIR and are credited with many awards such as ‘Yuva Prathibha Puraskar’ from Govt of Karnataka and Ananya, Bengaluru, the prestigious ‘Best violinist award’ from Madras Music Academy etc., besides bagging several prizes and scholarships.
