I am from Kerala ( the land created by lord parashurama by throwing his axe and where he taught Kalari the ancient martial art to humans ). Here we have couple of temples where lord parasuraman is worshipped. Also the students in kalari worship parasuram along with lord shiva and ancestors
Are there any teachers of kalari in Delhi ?

@@aayushbhagat943 I don't know. There are plenty in Kerala though. There are old Kalari gurukkals ( masters ) in Kerala who know the dangerous and very difficult to learn 'Marma Vidya' or pressure point technique too
Coastal region like Dakshina kannada and udupi districts are parashurama kshetra in karnataka. his importance and nagaradhane due to his history with snakes here are significant. hearing 1st time that part of kerala is also parashurama kshetra. which part are u from?
@@srilakshmimaiya4592 Puranas says Kerala emerged from the sea after Parsuraman threw his axe into the sea. Hence Kerala is also known as Parsurama Kshetram. Don't know south Karnataka is also part of that. But according to Puranas only Kerala is called parsurama Kshetram

You are lucky to have him as your Kul-devta, you should start worshipping him and doing SADHNA

I have heard Kalaripayat was invented by Lord Shiva himself.
@@s.r301 yes but Bhagvan Parashurama is the first disciple of Shiva. Then Bhagvan Parashurama became the first guru for everyone on earth. Hence, Bhagvan Parashurama is Mahaguru for Kalaripayat and brought it on one system in another words one organization. No doubt Shiva is the creator but the one bring it to humans with one organization is Parashurama.

In MP we too worship Lord Parashuram but it is not as prominent in other parts .

Just a correction, Lord Parasurama didn’t destroy all Kshatreyas he destroyed only evil kings (Kshatreyas) who were mismanaging and mistreating their citizens. The reason he is not widely worshipped across is because his focus is only on eradicating evil Kshtreyas (need for that yuga) than people development measures. Lord Rama succeeded Parashurama in establishing stable system and Lord Krishna refined it further. Thus gaining popularity among people. There’s technically merge temple for Matsya or Kurma avathar too doesn’t mean they are forgot.

No bruh your wrong, when his father's head has been cutted off by the kshathriya, I forgot his name?, he was so in anger that he had destroyed the whole kshathriya kull 21 times, but some how he used to leave kids and women's which resulted in existence of this varna again 🙏
@@seshadrinathrajarathanamnb3574 Thank you for picking those exactly like in Britannica, but in reality Lord Parasurama's father Jamatagni's had 21 stab wounds by Khartaveerya Arujna, so Lord Parasurama sat down and thought why his father was killed. He found that the evil intention and oppressing nature of Khastriya kings is the reason, they assume they are supreme beings rather than being public servants. He decided he will rip the evil Khastriya kings 21 times. He didn't kill a king who is getting married (like King Dhasaratha) and king who considered people welfare in mind (like King Janak). Lord Ram released Lord Parasuram from his intense anger and gave him salvation during Sita's Suyamvar, when he broke Lord Shiva's Bow.
P.S: Also Lord Parasurama's mother was Renuka (Kshatriya princess)

kshatriya is Varna not caste or race.
Also Bhagwan Parshuram is Bhraman from birth but Kshatriya by karma himself. He is not symbol of destruction. He is symbol of balance as much as every avatar of Bhagwan Vishnu, it just depends on how you see their karma based on their sutuations and situation of world at that time. He saw how some ppl at high status are misusing their authority and even ppl like his father who was one of Sapatrishi and his own family was also victim of this currouption. So he decided to not let it happen anymore and punished the corrupt kings who had forgot their karma (duties)

We have a temple and we do pray him for strength and rage.

There’s a temple dedicated to Lord Parashuram in Trivandrum, Kerala.
Lord Parashurama was not a Kshatriya, in fact he hunted down the Kshatriya caste to an almost near extinct state, that the existing Kshatriyas were afraid to declare themselves till lord Parashurama's anger calmed down . So much so that a new avatar of Lord Rama had to be born a Kshatriya to restore balance to the kshatriya clan. And moreover who said he is not worshipped. I can point out many temples in Kerala itself dedicated to Lord Parashurama. Also other than in temples he is also worshipped by the Kalaripayattu martial arts practitioners as he was the first guru who gave us the martial art. Moreover, the region on the western coast of India from Gokarna to Kanyakumari is also known as Parashurama Kshetra.

Here in Arunachal parshuram kund where he came and washed his sin off present a temple dedicated to lord parshuram baba, my forefathers used to carry babas and visitors through the boats.. during British raaj, 17th and 18th , 19th century
