Tell my father and grand father other and you wouldn’t be hunting with them. We never hunted any animal like that,always fair chase and never when a bear was hibernating. Hunt a grizzly one on one with no guide or tree stand. On his own turf with a bow,then see what kind of hunter they are. Do they stand or sit when they Urinate?
Those are Eurasian Brown Bear cubs and I don't think they share the same beliefs of sportsmanship as we do. Of course that may be all the meat he gets for the year.

"Hunting" generally takes some skill but these clips were reminiscent of canned hunting on enclosed property where the animals can't escape. It's like fishing with dynamite. Horrible!!

A lot of people here are talking about shooting the hibernating bears. I'm no expert, but it might be that was some kind of culling more than hunting. Shooting maybe because they were some kind of problem bears. An area where the bears were overpopulating. Tracking down bears that attacked campers, something like that. Mostly I'm saying this because I've never seen hunters do something like that. Not saying it's impossible of course.

Only seen one guy doing what i call hunting and that was the guy with the traditional bow on the ground ( black bear 1 and hunter zero) i would’ve needed to change underwear for sure. Anyone killing bears while in their den are with dogs im against for sure. The guy protecting his dog was outside of all his common since. Love your dog sure, but never confront a grizz, especially with cubs. He should’ve stayed in the house and called the game and fish. The rest of the video was terrible wish i hadn’t even seen it. Im a bow hunter and will always be until i die. Hunters love and respect the animals we chase, and are the very existence and reason of all regulations and conservation of wildlife. For instance, spring black bear season was established to cut down on calf elk and fawn deer deaths due to bear predation and the abundance of black bear, however there is no season for grizzly due to the low numbers. Some states such as Montana occasionally will have a draw to harvest a few grizzly’s but its left up to the state to decide if they choose to or not (so far its always a no) however grizz attacks are growing fast, however i believe if you go to their house, that’s on you, if they come to your house you have the right to protect your family. One last thing. If you shoot a grizzly in Montana, its treated like a murder investigation from ballistics to shot angles and distance of shot did you try bear spray first and on and on. Anyway video was disturbing, liked the comments.

From spring bear in April all the way to the last day of feb hunting deer. Im a bow hunter only so what i think is fair chase hunting for me may not be what other people think id fair chase. I respect Hunter s and hunting ! But I don't agree with hunting Bears unless you are tracking down a man eater who has attacked a human being for food! But to just go out and kill a Bear for sport especially forcing them out of their dens in hibernation is both Evil and Cruel! I would even consider that act not hunting but cold blooded murder!
