    When I owned a DTG company from 2006-2013, pre-treat machines were just hitting the market. We had to use a wagner air sprayer to pre-treat by hand. That aside, one thing I was able to do to get rid of the box is pre-treat and dry the shirts ahead of time. The day before for example. I was lucky enough to have a conveyor dryer used in screen printing so I ran all my pre-treated shirts through there, then when it was time to use that shirt for printing, gave it a quick 20 second press on the heat press to get the fibers nice and flat. If you dont have a conveyor dryer a nice house fan should do the job.

    Dear friend
    thank you for the great video
    i have a question
    my question is can i use the pretreatment formula only on the exact place of t shirt where i want to print on ?
    cause i want to avoid from stains on black garment
    i think we don’t have to do pretreatment on whole side of t shirt if i want to print small size of image?
    I would be appreciated if you answer my question
    thank you 🙏🏻

    You should try lowering the density to maybe 30. It works for me. 40 just seems to much.

    Hey man, thanks for the content. Its a big help. I have owned the 330txplus for a couple moths now and I went through the initial video chat training. They packed a lot into that 6 or 7 hours and I gotta say I've been avoiding printing anything. I don't know if I'm just nervous to F up something or what but I'd definitely appreciate getting some guidance from someone who owns and operates the printer such as yourself. I'm sure you have a lot going on and your time is valuable but I'd really appreciate if you could spare some time to lend me a bit of your expertise. I hav all these ideas I want to put on shirts and hoodies but I'm scared to fuck up this $25,000 price of equipment.

    I'm about to blow your mind brother. I have the exact same equipment and use the exact same chem. I use a standard dryer to dry the pretreat and it works perfectly with ZERO box and I can pretreat hundreds of shirts in a 10th the time.

    Hey, Sean, thanks for the video. I noticed that you used the same paper over and over on the first shirt, and they on the second shirt you changed the paper after pressing, could that contribute to the DTG box, I have been told to only use the pressing paper ONE time?
    Also what pressure did you use for the second shirt? Thanks

    You ever added too much pressure on the heat press where you get crystallization on the shirt?

    • @SESHIRTSANDHOODIES
      @SESHIRTSANDHOODIES  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No.... usually that's from the moisture not escaping... from my experience I've pressed shirts at 9 with no issues

      @@SESHIRTSANDHOODIES oh okay then maybe i need to crank up the heat time on my Lawson Digi Dry box dryer so it drys a little longer. i was thinking it was the pressure.

      @@SESHIRTSANDHOODIES i ended up finding out last time what my problem was with the pretreat looking shinny. lol something minor but something that im sure most ppl seem to forget....so i dry my pre treated shirts with my digi dry box and after i flatten the fibers for 15 secs with a heat press but i was using a upper cover on my heat press that was teflon and a black looking one and i had totally forgot to put in a parchment paper on the shirt. the dull side facing the shirt. the teflon and black looking upper cover both give the pre treated shirt the shinny crystallization look.... lmfao so my 2 min digi dry time was correct.
