  • On this week's episode of van life Australia, we explore all the best things to do in Agnes Water and 1770 on the Queensland coast. These places are famous for being the northernmost surf break on the east coast of Australia, the gorgeous paperbark forest and being where Captain James Cook landed in 1770 on his journey north.
One of our goals here was to find the best photography locations in Agnes Water and 1770, and we feel as though we managed to come away with some great shots of the paperbark forest and the rugged coastline.
We really loved our time exploring what to do in Agnes Water and 1770, and it's definitely a place that we'd love to come back to spend more time. One week definitely wasn't enough!

AW is a beautiful place with friendly people. If U are able to access the Sunrise estate (gated) it is magical and quite exclusive. The vine habitat and forest floor is so unique. I think perhaps one day it may be the next Noosa. Only downside is it is so remote. I don't think I could live there full-time because of that reason as I am not into driving that much, which you would need to do to access either Bundy or Gladstone. Glad we visited recently though have always wanted to.

I wish to go to beautiful Australia someday, maybe live there for a few years, I'm so tired of living in the high traffic city of Los Angeles, Ca

We welcome you. There is so much to explore here and even in the cities you can get away from the hustle bustle. Hopefully our borders open soon and we welcome travellers again.

This town has turned so many roosters into feather dusters. All the old owner wannabes have left on the verge of bankruptcy with tails plucked out. It’s a far better place than what it was 10 years ago.

starts off this is wicked. do you call wonderful Godly creations 'sick' too. The enemy has reversed everything Godly so that good is evil and evil is good. and earth is about to suffer the final test of the final hour (the Jacob generation) so please WAKE UP while you still have a shot.
see the Creator as well as the Creation.
