Imagine travelling to the village and the first thing they do is take you around to their unfinished projects instead of allowing you to rest get something to eat or drink, etc.
These villagers don't know how to be hospitable to their visitors, something I never experienced when I lived in Kenya

Rocio complains that Marwa brought her to the village...I am sure he invited her and she chose to jump on a plane to go there. Like everyone else, she should have left after the party but she decided to stay. I for one don't feel sorry for her.

OT, It does not matter what gifts the Canadian guess came with. @rocabreravlogs and @iammarwa, did the same thing to @jamaicanuncle and Jamaican Uncle came with many gifts and lots of cash. When Jamaican Uncle arrived both Rosio and Marwa was still asleep and they didn't even bother to prepare a clean room for him. Jamaican uncle was doling out cash and gifts in a dirty room and after doing so was left by himself to eat alone at the table. If a remember correctly, it was @ItsNasto who was left to chaperone Jamaican Uncle while Rosio and Marwa when to their rooms to eat together. So, I don't think it matter what gifts the Canadian guess came with. Rosio and Marwa just don't know what hospitality means when it comes to people visiting there home.

Life is very hard in Canada. I can't imagine that Canadian man taking his hard earned, heavily taxed money to complete houses in that village. We have many people sleeping in tents in our parks. I had to get a woman removed from camping in my bus stop shelter in a very expensive area downtown. Right now they are in our park and we are trying to get them removed.

Marwa is accustomed to maid service in Africa. It is not like that in most countries. We have to do our own housework unless we are well off. I hope he doesn't expect Rocio's mother to come to be the full time nanny and cook. I am sure they have water in their homes. It will be difficult for them to handle no running water. I guess Marwa is not thinking of how boring staying in that villa with not even a TV will be. I refuse to spend vacations at my friend's home at this stage in my life, if they don't have cooking arrangements. If they expect me to come to be cook and clean up for them, that is not the place for me to stay. I would help cook sometimes, because I know I have to lend a hand with doing something. I would rather go to a resort for my vacations so I am free to do what I want.
