If you’re studying for exams right now, you got this! It’s ok to not get high grades. Your grades do not define you :)
nina feels like our big sister (even if she's younger than some of us lmao) she always gives the best advice and always makes us feel better when we're having a rough time. thank you nina for all that you do. sending you lots of love and good, positive vibes. :)
@@glossychibs no, this person means that she is like a big sister for a lot of people (she gives good advice to people who need it and you can find comfort when watching her video's) even though some people who watch her video's are older than her.
I would expect mostly college students to watch her stuff or teens and she is definitely older than them bc she said she graduated from college in 2019 so just a guess:)
I literally just started re-watching “not really studying with nina” and your college vlogs the other night since I needed motivation, and ahhhh!! Thank you nina
I’ve already graduated from university, but I kind of want to go back and further my education. Definitely saving this video for future reference IN CASE I go back 💞🥹
i graduated undergrad in 2019, and i am currently in my graduate program to pursue my doctorate in PT -- i have to say that even at the graduate level, these are great tips! i agree that having more points of contact with your studies and notes is extremely beneficial, especially for long term memory. one thing i will add is to remember that * *you are worth more than your grades!!* * yes, grades are important -- but at some point, other people will stop asking you for your grades and your transcripts.... and ultimately, they won't really care. instead, they focus more on the interactions and conversations that they have with you ♡
I love that you said that studying for 3 hours is enough! With all these study youtubers I often get the feeling that I dont do enough when I „only“ study for some hours in the day but honestly I still get good grades and get done everything I need to do because I think I have a good time management. But still I sometimes think: wait I‘m not studying for 8 hours like they do.. am I doing something wrong? So thanks a lot for reminding me 💕
Omg my life has been in SHAMBLES due to finals week but now that it’s over I definitely want to reevaluate how I study because nothing should be that stressful so thank you for the tips! Definitely using them 😅🙏🏽
I literally died and came back to life after finals! It’s more stressful than it should be. I felt my heart in real pain along with my stomach churning😫 Is that just me? I’m glad we survived tho, good job 👏
I graduated from college in 2016 and I literally hand wrote all my notes for all of my classes. In reality, 3 years or 6 years is not that long ago BUT TECHNOLOGY LITERALLY EVOLVES AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT.
Actually respecting the pomodoro method and the breaks made me study so much better. Crazy how the brain works better when you give it time to breathe lol also, I don't feel super tired after anymore
To anyone that needs to read this, I graduated with my degree and have been in my job for 3 years, now I’m 24 (help pls) and I only now have the courage to pursue my dreams of being a webcomic artist and making content here. You don’t have to have it all figured out and life is ready for you when you are, you got this! Ps thank you Nina for always being our ray of sunshine ☀️💗
literally watching and saving this for later... because i'll be in univ next school year aaaaa and i know this will be so helpful for when im already a college student 😩💖
tysm for always being there for me as a big sister, even though its virtually lol. I always watch your videos to lift my spirits up and de-stress from schoolwork. Im currently a sophomore in college and just need four more weeks till summer vacay, also finals season is coming up and this video really helped me a lot to start planning out my study sessions. Again TYSM NINA!!!!!
not me sleeping whole semester and not studying the tiniest, then when it is the finals season watching this video hoping it would make me pass the courses 🪄magically🪄
These are super super helpful tips! I’m also a college graduate and one of the things I did to help get me through finals season was printing out presentations for studying! Having them beside your notes will be super helpful and you can give your eyes some rest from the computer!
i'm currently on a break from college because of health issues, but i've always been grateful for your study videos because some of them make you feel bad due to how unrealistic they are. sometimes i'd watch study videos and feel like shit because my notes aren't that pretty, i can't study for that long, i'm not in an "aesthetic enough" place, etc etc. but i've noticed that with your videos i never feel that at all. you've been a real ray of sunshine for me for multiple years now and i'm sure a lot of us feel grateful to have your videos to help us or cheer us up ^_^ lots of love to you nina!
This is some solid advice. I got my undergrad degree in 2013, and this fall I will be in my final year of grad school. I think pacing yourself and allowing yourself breaks is key.
Yes, give your self some time to study. I learned it the hard way. Because i was not able to study for my Dynamics exam last few weeks ago, i was not able to answer a single thing🙂
Thank you , I'm a Brazilian girl taha have been studyinh English for 4 years and in these days , I've been thinking about give up , but , because of this video , now , I'm felling better and I promise that I will try again ❤
I want to thank you, a lot of your older videos regarding college and your concert experiences have kept me sane. I’m slated to graduate this Friday and just want you to know how much you’ve helped throughout!
your words are literally so pure, they sound so pure and genuine, you sound like my elder sister giving me advice late at night on how to do well in life, just know that so many people are grateful for you and for your this video that you posted and for your kind and sweet and always encouraging words, ive been watching you for a long time maybe its another reason why your words feel so true and real and it makes me want to wish the best for you, this video of yours made me want to wish the best for you and tell you that youre doing so great in life, so many people are so proud of you and look up to you as an inspiration, this video made me want to tell you that you are such a beautiful and great person, i love you so much literally, if someday i find myself doing good at college or just some place in my life, i WILL think of you, just know that so many people and I will think of you and thank you. Thank you so much nina
My finals start the in two days and u dropping this video now is just so needed and the fact that u dropped when I needed it feels like u r really my Homie
Few weeks from now is the beginning of our second semester. I have quite a messy studying life in my first year, first sem. Everything was truly chaotic to the point of destruction. I even got an INC at the processing of grades. I learned those lessons in a hard way and i want to solve them for this year. Thats why i came to your video and others to gather advises to know what went wrong and how i couldve prevent them and myself to be neglected at the end. Im truly thankful for your advice ate(older sister) nina! I manifest for this year to build my studying foundation and learn a lot as i go forward!
I love you're school videos. They are always calm and helpful. You motivate me so much with you're kindness and fun personality I hope I'll do good in school 😌

Thank you Nina! This was really helpful and insightful. 😊
I found you last week and love the channel and videos. I'm a highschool student taking alot of college courses and I have a final tommorow for 2 of my courses, so this helped a lot. I already use a lot of these tips, and plan to add more. Have a lovely day and thank you for the video! :D
I commute to nd from campus and I started staying for SI (supplemental instruction) sessions that were hosted by students that the professor picked out. They were usually later in the day, towards night (6pm or 7pm) and lasted around an hour. I prefer taking classes earlier in the day so I often skipped the optional sessions because I didn't want to stay on campus. Well, I SUCK at math and wanted the extra help in Biology so I just kind of kept myself on campus. I have HUGE driving anxiety so I told myself that if I stayed on campus until after the session I wouldn't have to drive back and forth and I'd be able to study in between my last class and the session and it really helped so much
