They just don't advertise these awesome features, like iphones do for even a very small feature like dynamic island. They somehow don't create that "euphoria" around their features.
Samsung's software is half-assed. I've owned 2 of their devices & this one is defintely my last. I wouldn't recommend their products to anyone unless someone intends rooting it & removing Samsung's software. Most of their features are missing very obvious settings & what features they do have are prone to disappear without warning. They have a multitude of restrictions on them imposed by Samsung & their app/battery optimization fetish is outrageous. Those settings essentially prevent your apps from running in the backround & choking them with Samsung's idiotic optimization features doesn't allow some apps to function properly while flat-out breaking some others. Not to mention, most apps use very little power in the background. Which also means that optimizing the majority of them isn't really saving you much battery juice. Big name browsers like Edge & Chrome should definitely be restricted from running in the background as well as most social media apps. Other than that, major battery drainers aren't all that common & these corporations are f*cking up our apps without good reason. I mean....it could be worse, I guess. At least it's not a damn iPhone. Samsung is just an expensive brandname from a corporation that takes no pride in their products.
I love the new one ui 5 update. Android 13 is so smooth and love all the customization tools are already updated. Samsung knocked it out of the park on this update.
Okay, now that I know about Good Lock, the only phone companies I currently see myself buying from are Xiaomi and Samsung, because of that recent apps customization. I LOVE seeing multiple apps all together on my Mi9T and hated the idea of going to another android and having to lose that, but now I can get it back with Samsung! This also solidifies my choice to go with a foldable Samsung as my next phone.

One feature of secured folder that no one talks about is dedicated fingerprint for secured folder. Not only is it the only fingerprint that works, If you unlock your phone with that finger it takes you straight ro secured folder.

Wow! I already have customized my S23 Ultra but I was not aware of RegiStar and One Hand Operation+. The customization is really God level. Another awesome thing is that Good Lock works with launchers. In my case, it works with Niagara Pro. Samsung software is amazing!

Yes the battery has improved a lot after the update especially the idle battery managment. Also the animations feel more smoother. But if you are comparing it with the iphone 14 pro max it will not give such a stellar battery.

I've S21. Use it with an antivirus. I use kaspersky. The thing is butter smooth with AV. Lov every bit of it. 💘 Kaspersky even has fantastic battery 🔋 management & applock features. Battery life is increased by 30 min with AV on in my fone. Highly recommended

The Smart Things saved my Galaxy watch! I ate at the Olive Garden and I wore a fabric band on the watch that came off when I took off my jacket! When I got home, I took out the trash then noticed watch was gone! I thought it was in the trash. I used the Find My Watch app on my phone but I didn't hear it. So I turned on Smart Things and realized it was at the Olive Garden! I called then went back there to get my watch which I would be lost without! Thank goodness for Samsung apps!

You can also use samsung flow which has a windows program as well. Much faster in my opinion.

Samsung Reminders also has Galaxy watch & microsoft to-do integration. All my tasks/reminders are integrated on laptop+phone+watch. It so so useful.

It is not risky because it asks your lock screen password if you directly launch it from lock screen or aod

Dude. The most useful and most underrated app is Bixby Routines. You basically have a Tasker or ITTT built-in. I use it all the time.

To be honest you don't really need it. You can't even use it after the last few updates. It practically shut itself off

My S22 Ultra doesn't work with taps not sure if it's cause of case and I have to hit actual screen not case
I use Goodlock module navstar to take screenshots and with nice shot you can delete if you hit by accident
