Got 27, not bad for the fact that you tube taught me bsl alphabet at 6am and picked it up quickly, going to keep going so I can conversate with my mum who learnt bsl years ago, she doesn't know! I want to teach myself as much as possible, before we meet up for coffee next week 😂

I started today memorizing the finger spellings and I got 16 so far. It does get difficult because of the speed 😂 I am only half way through.gonna continue tomorrow.

I’m 10 and I’m hoping to learn BSL and be fluent in it. I have lessons with a teacher on Wednesday (online) and she gives us homework to do. I like to practice with commanding hands as well tho. I love this channel and I hope that my teacher and this will teach me sign language. Sign language is my 5th language. ❤️❤️❤️

@@crimsonshadows6328 English as I’m from England. But I started learning polish English and Urdu when I was a baby so I was learning 3 languages at the same time. 2 years ago I started learning Spanish and just recently I started BSL. :)

I think a version with signed answers (alongside written answers) could be really useful! I used the quiz to see how many animal signs I could remember. I realised I don't know "fox", "frog", "monkey" and some others!

All correct but I must admit had to watch few of twice, yet the name came up in the mind before spelling had finished. had to work on the concentration bit harder this time. thank you for your hard work it is much appreciated Dan.

Thanks for this video! Tonight will be my second BSL class, I got all 30 correct 😊 although I did guess some answers based on the letters I picked up. I can finger spell quite well but it’s reading other people’s signs that will challenge me.
It was fun practising the animal signs along with recognising the spelling
Got all right first time much to my surprise.
Got 26. I lose concentration sometimes and forget to take in the signs or I get stuck on one letter and miss a couple that follow!

I had to rewind once and see again but I did not look at any cheats and am glad to say I understood 28/30 :) For now I can use anout half the alphabet although these words will deffinitely help with remembering it

I got all of them too. I'm still struggling with the vowels though. You have made it easier this way. I have associated signs with relevance to the meaning. I= PUSHING GLASSES ON, U= SHAPE OF PHONE, e= POINTS TO EYE, a= THUMB(FONZ), LEAVING o TO REMEMBER.
I remember "o" as pointing to the "ring finger" - the o being the ring :)
I got 28/30 right, mis spelt bear for boar and snake I missed one letter out, the angle you done the K threw me

I had to go back for four, 9, 19, 20 and 27, some i got by the letters before putting them i order :)

I'm surprised, given our dependency on animals, that they don't have their own signs rather than having to fingerspell
This is a fingerspelling practice activity - The aim is to practice with familiar context. Of course there are signs. All sign languages have signs for almost all animals.
