Thank you! I noticed he's not very comfortable on the high notes of Star during live radio performances and was relieved when he actually skipped that part during Super K-pop. If this was a few months ago as he mentioned, then that makes sense. I'm glad he found ways to cope and decided to take action so he can take care of himself and preserve his vocal cords. I watched a video before where a trainer mentioned sometimes high notes when not done correctly make vocal cords susceptible to stress and damage in the long run. I want him to be able to sing to his hearts content until he gets old. Fighting, Yonghoon! ❤❤❤
I think he didn't do the highnotes during the guitar solo on Super K-pop and Kiss the Radio because they performed the acoustic version there and they didn't include it in that version (same in the acoustic live clip). I assumed at the time it was because the highnotes blended well with the electric guitar but they may have decided it didn't work well with/overpowered the acoustic guitar, though perhaps he chose not to include it in that version to make it less stressful to perform acoustic. Iirc he did say that, when he decided last minute to add those highnotes during recording for Star, he did it in one take and was relieved that it came out well because he didn't think he could keep re-recording, so I wasn't surprised that he wasn't as comfortable singing it live back then although he still did well (initially I didn't expect those highnote adlibs to be in the live version based on what he said about recording). Hopefully with this he's found better ways to sing those notes for Star now and, if for any reason he feels he's not up to it or that it could be harming his voice, will opt for another song/sing the acoustic version rather than push himself 🥺❤️

I def remember a time a few months back where he did NOT seem happy with his live singing and I always wondered what was up but he seemed to conquer it quickly so I didn't worry about him too much.
