Great video review! I totally agree! A beautiful deck for sure, in all it's versions! I first met these little monsters in a large print from the first run. I was immediately smitten. They came rectangular, but I ended up cutting out my large 1st ed cards (to have them as intended by the creator). It takes some getting used to, esp if you have smaller hands like me. I was able to riffle shuffle them, but it took some practice. They are large and the oval shape def makes it more likely that they'll pop out every which way, lol. Personally, the "too large" "too bouncey" cards brought a whimsical child-like vibe to my readings; which helped me to shift and drop in. At the same time, they were able to meet me in dark/sad places. Looking forward to re-meeting this familiar companion in the new 2nd ed. Alternatively, shuffling the deck by "stirring the cauldron" (mixing them up on a flat surface) works well. With the beautiful backs it felt like finger painting in a sea of space and stars. A deliciously immersive experience!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful deck. I might even get efflorescent tarot too! I am a bit disappointed in the oval shape though. I’m not really a fan 😢
This deck is cute and soft looking art. I have actually never used a circle tarot deck before. Thanks for the lovely video.

Is the first edition out of print? I doubt I could easily handle the large oval set
