1. What would be the S.K (Search Key)
2. Generally we access the database by filter in the query based on different attribites and this makes S.K non-specific.

Sir I have read somewhere that in case of dense indexing, the index file contains the search key and the pointer pointing to the address corresponding to that search key in the data block. Here you have mentioned that only the base address of the block is there. Then in that case unsorted file will take time for dense indexing also ( and not only for sparse indexing) . Please clear my doubt.
