Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat have posed for the cameras with U-S President Bill Clinton on Tuesday.
The leaders are at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland, for a last-ditch attempt to resolve long-standing differences between them.
Barak and Arafat are at opposite sides of a conflict spanning over fifty years and the two old foes wrangled in front of the cameras at the photo session.
But this disagreement was a polite one, as the Israeli and Palestinian leaders each attempted to allow the other to enter the Camp David lodge first.

A unique moment in history.
this should be in a time capsule
at least bill clinton got both sides to sit down and negotiate
We need to see the reality
Two states and that's it
@@muhammadousillah369 Two states solution is obvious but Hamas will never let it happen.
He did and Israel gave Arafat 95% of everything he wanted. Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Morocco all backed the Israeli proposal and Arafat still turned it down. He kept asking for more and more and making more demands. He showed his true colours of not wanting peace.
Total respect for Clinton here for not getting caught up in the whole "last one in is the most important" middle eastern mindset power move. Then he solves the problem by having them both enter in at the same time. Hilarious moment! The commentary above totally misses the point - last one in claims "host" role so they were jostling for recognition.
I don't think he even knew.. I didn't know until I saw this video
