    "MX bikes have stronger engines" - 6:51
    Good stuff.

    I would say Enduro requires more physical strength. You are picking up your bike, moving it around and getting on and off of it a lot more than you do in motocross.

    • @jakebos4247
      @jakebos4247 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Doesn't sound like you've done much mx, the strength it takes too hold on for a 30 minute full paste moto is instane. You'll be sore for 2 weeks if your not used too it or a frequent rider

      Whats a mx race? 30mins of fast paced hard riding?
      Enduro is 3-6hours of marathon racing with uneven pacing?

      @@moerockha625 Mx is motocross. Enduro is like motocross without the jumps & it’s a lot longer racing.

    A big fan of bikes especially MX and Enduro. However, I like the adventure enduro bikes bring out of a rider.

    What about hair scrambles? I asked a buddy and he said it was when you ride fast with no helmet and your hair gets messed up, but I think there must be more to it than that. Others have told me they use a good mousse, but they ride with helmets so I can't see how a hair mousse would be needed.

    Is an enduro bike ideal for riding in the snow❄️? & i don’t mean deep snow neither in which a snowmobile would ride on but i mean like riding on snow covered gravol roads in about a foot or half a foot of snow + would the frigid cold temperatures effect the performance of an enduro engine?

    I'm looking for a do-it-all bike. I know being able to do a bit of everything means it won't be excellent in anything. But that's a tradeoff I can accept as money is tight and I can't afford two bikes + maintenance on both. What do you think of the yz250fx. I heard it's more about trail riding but that it can haul my ass around an MX track good enough for a beginner like me. What do you think, any other bikes you'd think of?

  • @carcaridon

    Enduro bikes,eg my 2010 Champions 450 tun an 18" rear for a taller wall for less flex.
    Mx usually 19" as demands against sharp edge hits is usually less.

      Tried that one on my Beta 300RR... crap!
      I would say you can ride MX bike on a light enduro or country cross track/race but for an MX track you should get MX bike only.

      @@soundslikealotmy CRF450X has been converted to an R model… kinda. Changed out the headlight for a number plate and got rid of the license plate bracket. Still on stock engine however I have an RS2 full exhaust for an R model on my X, still have the soft suspension and heavy skid plates. I do just fine on a track, wouldn’t wanna race with it but hitting jumps and railing turns isn’t as bad as I’d thought it be, and yet I can still maintain the enduro features I like for when I trail ride, bike handles wide open sand whoops like nothing, does pretty good on on single track as well, I’m never lacking any power and am constantly in the power band. Bike definitely has more low end power than my buddies CRF450R and less high end power. It’s perfect for me right now as I can only afford one bike but when I can afford two bikes I will definitely get an R model just for the track or maybe even an older 2 stroke CR.

      Not really, most enduro bikes arnt road legal. Its more like sprints vs marathon

    • @vaenii5056
      @vaenii5056 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@___-gs4ds Well they are at least in Finland. Same with other Nordic countries, central and eastern Europe. Not only that but you can ride 125cc bikes legally on street at 16. You can drive cars legally at 18. Needless to say 125cc enduro bikes are pretty popular among youth for that reason. Husqvarna, KTM, TM, Gas Gas and so on.
      Obviously if only compete and ride on trails you could make the decision to save some money and not register the bike. However in competitions the bike has to be street legal anyway because you are using fully open public roads to move between the stages. You must get temporary permit and license plate from an inspection center.

    • @airindiana
      @airindiana ปีที่แล้ว

      I think that they can be made road legal easier is prob because they come with headlights. The real difference is the suspension being softer, the gear ratios being wider and the throttle curve slightly less aggressive
