The weapons look pretty damn good! Garrett is gonna go off for over 1400 yards, we have our big body outside beast in Mike Williams, and Corley is our new slot YAC monster! Conklin is also very underrated and we have Ruckertt on the come up. Oh yeah, and don’t forget the best young RB in the league
Perhaps the letdown of the last 30 years of picks is a reason why some are pessimistic. Everyone loves draft day because each of these guys has the chance to be a major part of this team for the next however many years. But the fact is out of the 7 guys we drafted, 2 or 3 might become contributors.
8, I think it was a great pick cant wait to see if his talent transitions to the NFL. JD picking up a 4th & 5th for free and still getting maybe the best T in draft was masterful but I still think we need another WR, we dont know when Williams will be back and I dont want to rely on Lazard
Very impressed with this dude’s tape; the stat is he has the 4th most receiving yards in college the past 2 years behind all the “big 3” receivers from this draft. Let’s hope he can make true NFL players miss when it matters most.
I’m not gonna say anything bad about our new 3rd round rookie WR. There’s plenty to like. I hope he does well. He better not be the next mims, or Moore!!
Mims was still very raw and never panned out. Moore was good but something just didn’t click. I think it’s a great situation for Corley, he doesn’t have to be “the guy” or even the 2nd guy.
Nice breakdown Luke. I'm excited to see what he can do if we can get the ball in his hands. Seems he gives us some of what Bowers had to offer. Fashanu/Corley vs Bowers/3rd round OL, I like this path more.
Luke, good day Mate. Listen, I'm inclined to believe that Lazard is going to have a better yr having Aaron under center. As far as Malachi is concern I'm truly not sure if he's going to see the field much. And, if he does, what are the chances that Rogers will target him allot. It's to our understanding that Rogers hates Rooks. Anyways, the kid has plenty of mentors that can take him under their wing to try to make him better. As always bud, thank you for the film break
The only downside to his selection is our offensive coordinator. I have a hard time believing he can utilize Corley's talents. But he was a good selection nonetheless. Thanks Luke!
Not all picks are about what they can’t do. That’s important for Tackles and CB’s. At WR, find players who can have a role and one outstanding skill set. That’s as important.
@PlayLikeAJet Well look I'd be interested to see if Corley is played at Kick Returner for exactly that reason. But I hope this doesn't take a WR like Walker, Franklin or even Wilson out of consideration for day 3.
I agree with 99% of this, plus he's a great kid. But he does not have the top end speed. He's going to have to get ball close to the line of scrimmage, he's almost more of a RB.
I agree, he'll be great around the line of scrimmage, but once in the open field they are going to run him down. I think he's good and I like the pick but as you said, he's not a traditional WR, he's a gadget and he's going to take a beating just like Debo has. But he's got heart and I think he'll be effective playing with Rodgers who knows how to get him the ball on time.
overrated slight above mediocre walker and troy are better .. hes not going to be used like a deebo so that stupid assumption should be tossed idk why ppl think that .. will see tho cuz they was saying the same thing about mims 😂
If you get an elite role player in the 3rd round, who can give you instant impact, it’s a huge win. Being a “body catcher” isnt a knock on a guy with his skill set. It would be a concern if he was a vertical, Franklin type WR. I think people forget that WR isn’t CB or OT. You don’t have to play every snap. You’re allowed to have a certain skill set and can still add tons to an offense
Overrated? He was taken in the 3rd round. Did plenty of work vs OSU. Plenty of guys come out of small conferences. Plenty of busts out of the PAC 12 and SEC
@PlayLikeAJet problem with your analysis is whoever the Jets select is an amazing pick. I watch all your videos. Jets fanbase reminds today the day after the Denzel Mims pick. LOL I am 53 years old. Season ticket holder since 84. I've seen it all. Every pick isn't amazing
@@michaellamanna7865you being old and cynical is your problem. Don’t project on me champ. I literally said I don’t even view him as a real wide receiver and that he’s not winning in the route tree or catch point. They drafted him for a specific skill set. Wake up lol
Whats good about this dudes downfalls is rodgers and taylor can work with him on those downfalls. Working with our qb pick this year keeps his abilities able and the things he needs to learn he will. Imo this is the best take of the draft

Great work, Luke. Not sure why being optimistic about our pics is an issue for some, but it’s clear that he has amazing potential
Just needs to do his thing inside his role. Let’s go 🫶🏼

Very good bro. The balance is hugeee
The YAC King is a NY Jet!
Give the Corley draft pick a mark between 1 and 10…

Love this guy’s breakdowns
I appreciate you 🤝🏼🤝🏼
A bit of coaching and better QB play should do wonders for this guy. What matters is the level of talent he has, and it’s clearly there.

Was a cool stat
It's so nice having these new film reviews to digest! Keep up the great work Luke!
Great hand skills when catching the ball

this is the most important stat imho
especially with the NFL moving away from hitting
Great point that most people don’t connect the two.
Dude is a beast. Glad he’s a Jet!
Let’s go
Well Aaron Rodgers does love his bubble screens so it's not a bad pick. Not the most reliable deep threat but good for getting easy dump offs
Like the pick!
Nice video and I liked watching it. But, YAC doesn't mean yards after catch. YAC means yards after contact.
Yes it does
Boy a beast

So after Corley and Fashanu, what do we want today?
Give us another style of WR, a developmental QB and a DB
@@PlayLikeAJetI want Lazard as far off the depth chart as possible
Safety/offensive line should be our targets for today

QB from Seminoles

He sounds almost like a FB
Not really.
YAC, baby.
😡🏃🏽♂️
The kid looks great. But who is this quarterback he's got a rocket and a quick release.
When you watch all of the film, he actually stunk. I think his name was Reed
His speed is far from elite. He ate up bad competition, but I'd be shocked if his game translates against the best athletes in the world.
His game isn’t predicated around speed haha
He’s awesome but I still don’t trust Hackett to know how to use him
Good news is, screens and mesh concepts aren’t hard to draw up
Good pick but I'm concerned about the lack of route tree and the fact that he played against terrible competition.

He literally played against Auburn in the SEC before

Not about top end speed. It’s about 3 step quickness to get an angle and force an arm tackle

It’s the hope that kills you haha
Corley plays like a pass catching running back
M.C yardking😂😂😂😂
😂😂
I get what you are saying.. but you can teach route running. The other attributes you can't. You are that dog . Or you're not
It’s all on Hackett. He will get everyone fired if he doesn’t step up. Call your dad and get some help lol
Good news is, it’s not tough to dial up a screen or mesh concept lol

Mims was a contested catch guy, which has proved very poor when translation to the NFL
A body catcher I don’t like that he’s just a gadget guy we need a real WR

plays nothing like Pacheco id say Antonio brown
Antonio brown was about SAQ, reparation and route running. He barely ran a route in college haha
