- During a ground report done by the NLTV team it was found out that several under-aged riders are driving in the streets of Dimapur. Several of them are driving without helmet or Driving Licence

I understand everybody's concern But some of us hav no other option we live either very far and auto fare too is so high it feels like we're getting ripped off cuz there's no fixed price and schools in town area make it more difficult as students hav to walk till railway gate or auto junctions in such high heat and traffic with heavy backpacks to get a ride in the first place... And moreover ik many underage ppl who are even more responsible drivers than ppl with lisence only a small portion of students that ride very rough and tough and they out us responsible drivers in shame too... Just bcuz of one two ppl we all hav to suffer.... I hope they make the legal age for getting a license like 16 years or something in India too with proper driving test results.... Or if the government is ready to pay for my transportation fare all the very good we'll happily stop doing this illegal but needy practice😁👍

This problem starts from home.Parenrts/elders should not allow or buy 2 wheeler for adolescents cos it’s illegal.

If their parents dare to withhold the coveted two-wheelers, they've got a nuclear option up their sleeves: threatening to drop out of college/school. Who knew two wheels could hold such power? Auto union should also remove under age and old age because I have seen so many non local are driving under age and old age and they don't have even driving license also.union and police should take action not only ( challan) this is my humble request,thank you.

Must check under age drivers however must also check aged drivers who doesn't have driving license/proper documents. Both must go hand in hand otherwise it's an absolute injustice to check only the under age students who are more efficiently using their 2 wheelers for their education purpose than those matured people who are actually creating traffic jam/not following traffic rules and causing havoc in the city. Would be highly appreciated if the concern authority take the initiative properly.
Yes this should be strictly checked but it's for going to school.... Ig this should be allowed to let them ride for going to school but only in school uniform and with helmet
Under the present law a person above the age of 16 can ride a gearless scooty with a learner's license

How come we see students riding latest bikes these days? When I was their age getting a bicycle was out of this world experience and that also on sharing basis with my younger siblings and lastly no riding on the road otherwise mum will be waiting with a stick.

The main reason for that is because travelling in auto and Bus is now getting expensive due to high rate of fares so people prefer to get their own car and Scotties...BUT yeah it's wrong for underaged people to drive without licence recklessly
