How did you find this out? I wondered what happened afterwards, including with Alan and Kazuto.

I really like Shun and I hate that Netflix portrayed him like this cold moody person. They cut off all the good parts of him and every member did say he was fun to be around. Anyway fitting 1 and ½ months content in a 10 episode show? i don't know about that... Also I don't know what's your deal with 22 year olds 😂.

Tottaly fair! Producers and editors can change the feel of a person so much and I fully get that. I’m just old and envy the young don’t take anything I say to seriously

I loved this show. It’s so refreshing (and wholesome), as you say. I started quite liking Ryota … until he couldn’t see what was right in front of him. Gensei! Ryota’s obsession with Kazuto really annoyed me, particularly given Kazuto made it clear he wasn’t interested. Whereas cute, lovely Gensei was right there! Made me so sad when he left early. 😭

100 percent! I was team Ryota in the beginning as well. I think he didn’t want to hurt gensei’s feelings and just played dumb instead of being direct…

I love how Shun’s comments on the show are totally different from how he feels rn cuz of Dai!
In an interview released today he said this 👇🏽
"My relationships were often self-centered, and I couldn't see the people around me,"
"Meeting Dai changed my entire perspective on love. Now I strive to respect what my loved one thinks and feels while maintaining a balance of mutual love." 🥹😭

As a big fan of the Korean dating show His Man -so I thought this would be a poor copy. But it is like Rupaul' s Drag Race and Dragula - similar but different enough to be enjoyable. I actually stopped watching it when the hosts came on intially as it seemed jarring but then I realised they were like reactors on reaction channels and enjoyed their in put. I binged watch the entire season and also the reunion ( on youtube) with the hosts and cast and liked everyone . Taeheon didnt get enough screen time throughout the whole show it was literally a few minutes over 10 episodes and then it was always linked to other people's storyline. So I would love to see him back if they have a season 2. When you said no one cared about Kayota and his kitchen skills . I thought ' didnt they?' I think they did but Japanese personalities are not so forward as westerners and express in a different and slower way! And that is why I love the series . The cast are not try hards like westerners so arent irritating - even SHUN!

Ooooh I need to check that show out. 100 percent I agree my reads may just be me not understanding Japanese reactions 😅

Yes... Japanese reality shows are much more psychological and subtle with the trashyness.... they destroy you with kindness and politeness respectfully. Getting called out and publicly shamed is the equivalent of a pew pew Getting pulled out during a drunken rage binger in the us

even the calling out is so subtle!
